son ye jin: "when i first made my debut, i had two dreams i really wanted to achieve. the first was, 'please let me never have to audition again.' and the second was, 'i really want to win the best actress award at the blue dragon film awards at least once.' i think it was in 2007 when i won the best actress award at the blue dragon film awards. back then, i thought to myself, 'wow, i've finally achieved my dream!' and then, almost 20 years later, i won the best actress award again. it felt so surreal, almost like a dream. i also thought about how long it had taken me to achieve it again. and this time, what made it even more special was that my husband and i won the award together. it was such a tremendous honor. honestly, it was such a huge celebration for our family that i wondered if something like this would ever happen again. so, in so many ways, the blue dragon film awards have given me such an incredible honor, and i'd like to express my gratitude once again. it's also quite interesting how awards work. before receiving one, you think, 'well, awards are a matter of luck. sometimes you win, sometimes you don't.' but the more awards you receive, the more you find yourself wanting them. so rather than waiting another 20 years for my next award, i'd like to make more good films and hopefully win another one much sooner! thank you so much for making all of this possible." #sonyejin #손예진
