hyun bin suggests a mr. & mrs. smith-like project, while son ye jin envisions an intensely realistic story about a married couple for their next project together 😆 mc: "after working together in the film <the negotiation> and the drama <crash landing on you>, if you two were to reunite in another project, what kind of relationship would you like your characters to have? and is there a particular genre you'd like to explore together?" hyun bin: "first of all, i think we'd definitely rule out the genres and storylines we've already done before. actually, when i thought about a similar question and considered the possibilities, one particular movie suddenly came to mind. what was it called? mr. & mrs. smith, right?" mc: "yes, yes!" hyun bin: "yes." son ye jin: "i'd prefer something more realistic. we'd be a married couple, but we'd have really intense marital arguments... something extremely realistic. like, 'it doesn't get any more realistic than this.' almost like a documentary. 🤣🤣 but, well, for me, i do hope we get to work together again someday, regardless of the genre or the characters. i've actually found myself thinking that i'd really like for us to reunite in another project." #현빈 #손예진

mc: "son ye jin, from your perspective, did you ever notice hyun bin making phone calls during filming or when you saw him? did he ever seem particularly exhausted, somewhat gloomy, or lost in deep thought?" son ye jin: "well, at that time, i had only recently given birth, so i was actually having an even harder time myself...(hyunbin 🤣) honestly, hyun bin lost quite a lot of weight. that's right. and i also knew how difficult it was for him to portray such a historical figure... but i was honestly going through so much myself that it was difficult for me to fully understand how hard things were for him. we were both going through a difficult time. there was also a lot of overseas filming, and whenever he came back, he always looked really exhausted. but i kept thinking, 'i'm the one who's having a harder time.' looking back now, i think those moments actually became an opportunity for us to grow into more mature actors and more mature parents." #hyunbin #sonyejin #손예진 #현빈
