Two years ago, right before the adaptation was announced, I read One Hundred Years of Solitude for the second time. When I learned the show was coming, I envisioned something very different, closer to how I visually interpreted the book during that second read.

It made me realize that magical realism might just be a reflection of different human perspectives shaped by age, health, etc. For example, children perceive the world completely differently than adults do, and as you get older, everyone around you seems to shrink.

As for the @netflix series, it is not bad, but it tries to pack in too much source material at once, making the final episode feel rushed and messy.

Every country has that one creator who's everywhere, but whose takes just never land for me. For Colombia, it's @ahbilbaoo. Their ad spend must be crazy.

The interface for AI is speaking or writing, you don't need a course for that. What most of those AI workshops are selling is not mastery, it is just mediocrity at an industrial scale.

The agentic capabilities of Kimi 3 are way superior to the others; at least that’s what I feel, as they respond and understand faster.

X-Men is perhaps the best @Marvel franchise and X-Men 97 is a truly amazing TV series.....

Most of the tools now are full of things you don't exactly need.

I have a lot of issues with @ahbilbaoo and all the effort he puts into selling his event...or whatever he is trying to sell. LLMs are a real breakthrough, they help you synthesize information. But being more productive, or claiming to be 30x more productive... doesn't come from pretending you've read something when you haven't, or from telling your system prompt to "be aware" of things when you don't even know what you're looking for. At this point, it feels like he's pretending to be an expert when he isn't, perhaps I am just tired of their posts.

"It's not dementia, it's Deloitte." .... What a catchy phrase! teapawt.net/atmoio/status/20411657…

I love @AnthropicAI work, but I worry their current strategy might backfire. Their recent announcement anthropic.com/news/claude-co… feels like a move into zero-sum territory. First on programming (where they already have many clients), plus legal and now code security. I guess 2026 will be a poker game between the major AI players.
