Man can dream $ZEC Realistically it won't moon like this, but gaining the old highs seems fair game, can't rule out a little more bleeding, but either way it's time to pack the bags Running a spot twap and shielding, $20k or bust SoV supercycle

So far so good. Would be very surprised if this continues much higher without some chopsolidation.

Will the pre season point drop from TxFlow determine if you will farm season 1 more or what else do you want to see to make season 1 more appealing?

This is a proposal, and proposals are welcome and should be surfaced and debated. Best ideas win. This one doesn’t have the broad support needed to make a consensus change. I also don’t believe it’s good for Zcash. Background: here is the initial rationale for considering a move to PoS by ECC back in 2021. zodl.com/should-zcash-switch… Crosslink (then TFL) was originally intended as a first step toward that transition. zodl.com/the-trailing-finali… When I returned to ECC as CEO, I stopped our work on it as I believed it was a distraction and wasn’t necessary for mass adoption. Shielded Labs then picked it up. Adding a staking layer adds protocol complexity and new security assumptions. The finality gain doesn't warrant the risk. Zcash should stay on Nakamoto consensus.
Crosslink is a proposed hybrid PoW/PoS upgrade for Zcash. By standardizing staking bonds into incremental powers of 10, observers are prevented from easily inferring individual staking patterns, preserving privacy and maintaining accountability among finalizers.

Pretty wild
We believe voice is the most natural way to interact with intelligence, so we created Dessa, the most authentic full-duplex speech model ever built. Talking with it feels like talking with a person…full of emotion, nuance, pauses, and a natural cadence. block.xyz/dessa

most perp dexes "settle onchain." the chain records the fill. the order book, the queue and the matching decision still live on an operator's server. running onchain is different: placing, cancelling, matching and filling are each transactions that pass through consensus. the record and the execution are the same thing. that's why we built our own chain instead of deploying on one. an order book is thousands of ops per second per market, and general-purpose chains aren't built for that. verify, don't trust. full piece below.

At some point we will unlock unlimited energy and with that the ability to shape and re-order physical reality Energy is a true currency, we will have an abundance of it in the future but match it with demand Physical scarcity will diminish over time Digital scarcity won't

Fabric of reality getting rewritten
Last month, we demonstrated high-rate alchemy: turning mercury into real, stable gold, beating CERN’s record by a factor of 10. Last week, we enriched isotopes in the world’s most powerful plasma centrifuge, beating the Soviet record that stood for 40 years. Now, we’re building a fusion reactor in San Francisco to achieve record power density.

Masterclass in how to get CT to shit on you
This is craazy. I asked one of our PhD engineers to look into NEAR *Confidential* Intents wondering how they designed their system. Unredacted, word-for-word, this was his answer 😱😱😱 "Everything I found out about the privacy claims and confidential intents is so bad that it seems almost comical and I cannot believe what I am seeing. Apparently they run a completely separate instance of the protocol, which is called FAR (as an opposite to NEAR), and that has a permissioned operator set. The entire confidentiality claim seems to rest upon the fact that it is a permissioned chain and the nodes are trusted to keep things private, there doesn't seem to be any deep technology behind it and it also does not seem to be open source. The entities running the nodes are also not publicly known. I almost feel weird writing this because it is so absurdly bad that it feels like ... I don't know ... a simulation? I know the usual level of overpromising in Web3 but this is so many levels beyond believable that it still feels unreal."

I still can't fathom how Bybit used to be an awesome experience but since Bybit EU it's just a nightmare. On- and offramp transactions getting stuck, nightmare UX, logging in on a second phone logs out primary device (phone), need primary device to log in to web app, when you want to skip using primary device authentication and use a different auth method it brings you to an authentication reset page (wtf?). The card is nice but has horrendous limits, you can off ramp millions but somehow getting more than 60K yearly spend limit on a card requires a slew of additional verification. None of it makes sense tbh.
