anthropic and openai want an fda for ai so they can use regulation to entrench themselves and squeeze out open models. that’s what this whole psyop is about. they won’t succeed.
Debasement trade to take bitcoin to $300,000 in three years, Bernstein says cnbc.com/2026/08/26/debaseme…
if you’re thinking like well someone’s gotta buy these scam tokens for the price to move, you’re dead wrong. it’s mostly liquidity providers sitting on exchange APIs like vampires, programmed to react to every bitcoin move.
orange bit’s going places, carrying every scam token with it like suckerfish latched onto a whale for a free ride.

humans have almost no intuition for exponential state spaces. a 24 word bip39 seed represents 256 bits of entropy which is like 2^256 ≈ 1.16 × 10^77 possibilities. just guesss the words sounds plausible only because the human brain is catastrophically bad at comprehending combinatorial scale.
about 250k bitcoin left to mine before the next halving. after that, the entire 4-yr halving cycle will produce only about 300k btc. no chart explains it better than the simple truth itself.

Bitcoin overlaid with ISM manufacturing.
bip110 failed. period. move on. don’t be hostile to the bitcoin network. if you don’t like pow, too bad. go create your own shitcoin and mine the fuck you want.
everyone keeps trying to predict bitcoin’s price like we have no historical reference. we actually do.
look at star island in miami beach. it’s a tiny man-made island with only about 30 waterfront homes. for over a century it’s been one of the scarcest pieces of real estate in the world.
as more wealth was created, more of it flowed into the same limited supply of homes. star island didn’t just keep up with inflation. it absorbed an increasing share of global wealth because supply never changed.
a few examples…
- 1999: rosie o’donnell bought a waterfront home for $6.75m.
- 2003: she sold it for $16.5m.
- 2009: shaq’s waterfront estate sold for $16m during the financial crisis.
- 2025: that same estate sold again for $120m.
bitcoin shares the same core characteristic:
- absolute scarcity.
- fixed supply.
- impossible to dilute.
no analogy is perfect but star island is one of the closest historical analogs we have to bitcoin. when a truly scarce asset becomes a global store of wealth, history shows us what can happen over the long term.
i’m giving it about 3 yrs before local intelligence becomes the norm. within 36 months, relying on a frontier model provider for intelligence will feel like going to an internet cafe just to use the internet. hardware companies including apple will ship devices with built-in options that let you choose your preferred local open model out of the box. and here’s the kicker. bitcoin will be integrated into all of these models with a spending wallet. you’ll talk directly to your local shopping agent without a mouse or keyboard interface and it’ll order your amazon, book your flights, pay your bills, etc.. we’re moving towards ultimate human freedom. it’s not super fast and most of the time it’s very painful for the first gen ai civilization but we’re gettin’ there.
when a market wants to dump, it looks for a reason. if one doesn’t exist, it creates one. btc should dump in the next few days if this bear market is going to continue because now it has a spectacularly good reason to. based on thr 4 yr cycle, we’ve got about just 4 more months to go anyway. if btc doesn’t dump hard soon, imo it’s a reasonable sign the bottom’s in.

Podcasters and YouTubers please put out short 5-10 min emergency broadcast episodes today or tomorrow with a technical guest about the coldcard situation. That way we can reach all the people in the audience who aren’t too online twitter people.
There are still bitcoiners who don’t know this is happening.

An image that hopefully helps circulating the key points with clear instructions on how to be safe(r) ASAP.
Goal is to help reduce confusion for panicking Coldcard users, and reach as many of them as possible before their funds get stolen.
Coldcard MK3, MK4, MK5 and Q are being drained. A bug lets attackers find your seed phrase without any action on your part. Only wallets generated using the dice roll method are safe, assuming you rolled at least 50 dice. If you don’t know, don’t remember, or aren’t sure, move your funds immediately.

Don't throw out your Coldcard devices. If law enforcement can get the coins then your device will likely be needed to prove that you owned the seed.
(this is due to the hardware ID associated with the processor)

1/ During our investigation of the Coldcard drain yesterday, we identified an unusual pattern in the sweeps. That pattern led us to a hypothesis that has since been confirmed: the operator used a paid account at a well-known blockchain-services provider to query the source addresses and perform other related activity during the sweeps.
the more i think about it, the worse it gets. self custody, the very essence of bitcoin took a big hit. it’s not just about coldcard, it’s also about every other hardware wallet. don’t be opportunistic and think it’s a good time to shill your hardware because if you think you’re now gonna sell more, you’re dead wrong. the winners are exchanges, ibit, all synthetic btc products and wall st in general.
