FOBOs bet: memecoins need a rising floor price without losing the volatility that makes people trade them.
risedotrich showed there’s demand for that idea. The harder question is whether people keep trading once the hype fades and prices settle near the floor.
So I simulated FOBO and Rise through buying, selling, fading interest and returning demand.
What stood out:
• A sharper price response. In the tested scenarios, FOBO’s curve produced bigger moves as buyers arrived. That preserves more of the speculative action people want from memecoins.
• More fees feeding the floor. FOBO directs 1.5% of trading notional into backing, about 9.4× more. Traders fund that difference: FOBO’s total fee is 2.5%, versus Rise’s 1.25%.
• A stronger bounce when buyers returned. In the recovery scenario, the first returning buy lifted FOBO’s quoted price 7.44%, versus 2.26% for Rise v1 and 1.42% for Rise v2 with matched floor-fee funding.

circle buying nearly 1,000 IBM blockchain patents is less about today's $USDC balance and more about the next moat. stablecoin competition is shifting from distribution to defensible rails.
