For months, 60 Minutes has been investigating the U.S. government's practice of deporting some immigrants to nations other than their home countries, places where they often have no connection whatsoever.
Our reporting found that some deportees sent to third countries ultimately wound up in places where U.S. judges have ruled they would likely be persecuted or tortured. An immigration lawyer tells 60 Minutes that may be a violation of international law.
Gianna Toboni has that story Sunday at 7 p.m. ET on 60 Minutes.

This is accurate. Our son periodically thanks us. Yesterday he told his father, “Thank you for putting me in a hospital; you saved my life.” We also used involuntary outpatient treatment.
It’s not pleasant, but neither is my upcoming back surgery. I’ll walk again pain-free. My son isn’t homeless and has a decent life. Some things are hard, but worth it for the outcome.

I'm showing the body cam video of Kohen Wiley's death because they refused to release it and people deserve to see what happened. Police were never in danger. They fired into a car that was already past them over alleged shoplifting of diapers. An innocent Black child is now dead at the hands of white cops. This isn't a broken system, it’s working the way it was intended to uphold white supremacy.
