WU-KONG28: 1L Sunvozertinib in EGFR exon20ins NSCLC
Compared to carbo/pemetrexed, sunvozertinib improved:
🔹mPFS 10.3 vs 7.5 mo (HR 0.65; 95% CI, 0.50 to 0.85)
🔹12mo PFS: 46.1% vs 26.7%
🔹ORR: 58.9% vs 31.1%
🔹mDOR 11.2 vs 7.1 mo
⬆️G3 or higher AEs: 75.5% vs 56.7%
Looking forward to seeing the presentation & discussion today during the metastatic NSCLC Oral Abstracts Session.
Obvious concerns re: comparator arm and how would sunvozertinib perform against current SOC, chemo + amivantamab?
and most importantly, when will this drug be available in the US?

As I said when this study was first reported, it is a small study with many limitations. At best it is hypothesis generating, nothing more. Please don't accept it at face value.
Crucial reality check from @lungoncdoc: Association ≠ causation‼️ Headlines linking healthy diet/pesticides to young onset lung cancer wildly overstate limited observations without proper controls, confounder adjustment, or any assessment of causality.

Alicia is honoring her father, grandfather, and uncle by racing in the Chicago Triathlon. Alicia’s father’s passion for medical research inspired her career and to find an organization that supports lung cancer research.
We are honored to have Alicia on the team and look forward to cheering her on this summer.

I hate to be political on Twitter but really? Is anyone ok with this? I grew up in Minneapolis. This is not what Minnesotans believe. Stop this!

Enough! I’ve lived in Boston most of my adult life but Minneapolis is my hometown. I’m heartbroken by this. Sending 2000 ICE agents to provoke & cause chaos is not making America great again. Stop it! Enough! npr.org/2026/01/08/nx-s1-567…

🔎 Early lung cancer screening saves lives, yet far too few eligible patients receive it. This article captures that gap and highlights the leadership of @DouglasEWood1 in pushing for improved access and awareness. seattletimes.com/opinion/ear…
