North East भारत का अंतिम छोर नहीं, बल्कि उसकी खूबसूरत शुरुआत है। यह क्षेत्र अपनी प्राकृतिक सुंदरता, सांस्कृतिक विविधता और रणनीतिक महत्त्व के कारण भारत की पहचान और सामर्थ्य को एक विशिष्ट आयाम प्रदान करता है।

दुनिया की सबसे सशक्त सेनाओं में शामिल होने के लिए केवल Technological Advancement ही नहीं, बल्कि सैनिकों का ऊँचा मनोबल भी आवश्यक है। हमारी सेनाओं का मनोबल जितना मजबूत होगा, भारत की सैन्य शक्ति भी उतनी ही ऊँची उड़ान भरेगी। भारत का प्रत्येक जवान यह महसूस करे कि सरकार और पूरा देश उसके साथ कंधे से कंधा मिलाकर खड़ा है।

Had the immense privilege of joining our courageous soldiers for the traditional ‘Bada Khana’ at Sukna Military Station on the eve of Diwali. This gathering is a true celebration of collectiveness, where ranks fade and we all sit together as one family. The North East is not the far end of India, but its glorious beginning-the first region to witness the sunrise and touch the day's first light. Sharing a meal and spending time with our brave personnel, who remain stationed far away from their families and loved ones to defend the motherland, is always a deeply moving and humbling experience. In their camaraderie and warm smiles, one witnesses the true strength and unity of our armed forces. The indomitable courage, supreme dedication, and soaring morale of our soldiers are what give the entire nation the confidence to celebrate festivals with peace and security. My salute to these brave sons of Bharat Mata!

On the auspicious occasion of Diwali today, paid homage to our immortal bravehearts at the Sherathang War Memorial in Sikkim. As the saying goes, "Monuments are for the living, not the dead"-they stand to continuously inspire us and awaken our national pride. Their supreme sacrifice in the line of duty will forever remain etched in the memory of a grateful nation, and we will always remain indebted to their valor. Also had the honor of meeting and interacting with our courageous troops deployed in this forward and challenging sector. Our jawans are like 'diyas' themselves, silently fighting the darkness and spreading the light of security to every home in the country. Even in extreme weather and difficult terrain, their unflinching vigil, boundless patriotism, and high morale burn brighter than a thousand lamps. It is a matter of profound pride to celebrate Diwali among the true guardians of the motherland. Wishing all our brave personnel serving on the borders and their families a very Happy and Prosperous Diwali.
