There’s massive amounts of silver in high-tech weaponry, like the Tomahawk cruise missile, like F-35s, like stealth bombers, and it’s not just in the United States; it’s sold all throughout the Western edifice through NATO. They need tremendous amounts of silver. It’s not even about the price getting away from them that they’re concerned about. It’s that rising price creates too much demand. People will run to the assets that are taking off in price. And so they suppress the price in order to build high-tech weaponry. JP Morgan, who paid a $920 million fine to the Justice Department, the largest they ever handed out for manipulating the metals market, somehow is the custodian of the world’s largest silver trust, SLV.
