This very much felt like this was a final play scene in FNL or Varsity Blues.
You just don’t have touchdowns that look like this very often.

One of the craziest things I've learned being a NFL Films nerd is that Terrell Davis's entire NFL career potentially doesn't happen at all if he is able to reach someone who speaks English at the front desk of his hotel for a preseason game in Tokyo.

The Knicks' assistant coaches did not receive their championship rings during Tuesday's ceremony, despite being handed ring boxes, according to league sources.
Many longtime employees at Madison Square Garden will not receive rings at all, per team sources.
Those employees got their hopes up in late September, when they were sent a fake championship ring offer as part of a phishing test.

Last time Republicans have been this divided?
If you look at who has come out in support of, or against the ad, most media people and major politicians are on the record at this point, with most saying it's very problematic.
But when Trump and Vance are okay with it...
I think the writing is on the wall and we are headed here.
I think most fans can't wrap their head around this, because they don't realize this world existed already as Brian points out.
Conferences make the most sense for non-football sports and are making less and less sense for many schools for football as the sport continues to cram change after change chasing money.
Alex Gibney did a two part 4 hour documentary about Ohio politics last year (a lot of it centered on HB6).
Starting to trend that Vivek's ad and whatever shakes out in a few weeks is likely to also get a documentary.
It's a specific viral thing that gives you an in to tell a larger story

Yeah, it's a local cable ad buy.
I recognize the YouTube TV "Sponsored" tab there.
That's not ESPN, otherwise you would have the BottomLine.
That's YouTube TV, meaning its gone into the Google Ads system.
Unfortunately...
I would like to iterate that this could have been a local buy through my cable provider.
I was giving context of where I was seeing this ad. I do not, and can not trace how this ad appeared but wanted to just inform that it has indeed hit the airwaves
Just aired now on ESPN
Details are out on Vivek Ramaswamy’s statewide TV buy for his attack spot featuring Amy Acton’s estranged mother:

This has very much played out like the Russian submarine in Hunt for the Red October that is destroyed by its torpedo.
Except it’s somehow so much worse than that.
