That last AI Engineering workshop with @devscourtAI and @qorebitai was awesome. We had a few beginners learn how to use AI because they had no one to help them in person or answer their basic questions. We're doing a deeper dive this Saturday into using AI these days.

That Saturday, we will be going beyond prompts. You’ll learn how AI applications really work, how agents use tools to get stuff done, and how to turn your ideas into working products. And most especially connect with other developers, data analysts and founders.

Restocked and cleared. Just a heads-up, most new buyers will still ask the usual trust questions since previous deals stay private and aren't exactly transparent.

Getting confirmation from both sides makes things way less awkward. Small transactions feel just as sketchy as big ones. Once the money is gone, the buyer is basically left hanging. Imagine a situation like this when dealing with a total stranger online with a larger amount.
Yesterday I wanted to buy something worth N500 and this woman called "First Bank" and the next question I asked was "Will you see it now"?? Because I'm sending from opay and she even wanted adding extra N100 on it because of charges and I've already started walking away because why??? But after mentioning that "first Bank" I know there'll be delay but still since she has called me back I went and send it only for her to say "give me your number when the alert drop I'll call you to tell you" I just gave a sign and in my mind I say "na the first and last one be this" gave her the number and left

Designing for constant connectivity ignores the real-world network conditions in Nigeria, there is the need to prioritize strong efficiency and performance to ensure users don't blame the app for connectivity issues.
Anyone building SaaS for Nigerian businesses without thinking offline-first is building for a country that doesn't exist. When the light goes and data finishes, the repair shop still has to log the phone that just came in.

Keeping money as whole kobo and handling rounding in one place sounds boring until you get your first settlement mismatch. It's a simple but vital part of any financial system's design.
Replying to @KoladeBuilds
The fix is older than most of us. Store money as a whole number of the smallest unit: kobo, not naira, cents, not dollars. Then decide, in writing, how a fee that works out to a third of a kobo gets rounded, and apply that rule in exactly one place in the codebase.

Hybrid/remote work is fine until you realise half the job is still proving you exist onlineπŸ₯² while the other half is actually shipping something usefulπŸ˜ͺ

Building reliable products still takes someone who can break down the problem and catch what the agent missed.
The developer skill stack is evolving. Writing code matters. But so does: β†’ Breaking down problems β†’ Reviewing AI output β†’ Understanding architecture β†’ Testing edge cases β†’ Shipping reliable products The future belongs to developers who combine technical depth with leverage.
