Time to dig! 2020 Bledsoe- McDaniels Syrah in the making.

Our estate vineyard, Lefore, sits within what Harvey Steiman with Wine Spectator calls, “The most distinctive AVA in the United States….making some of the greatest wines in America.” We couldn’t agree more!

Ridgecrest Vineyard, pictured here, is one site that we work with in the small, Ribbon Ridge AVA in the Willamette Valley. Our block of Pinot Noir was planted in 1983 and sits at about 600 feet in elevation. We love these wines for their classic structure and natural acidity!

We are less than a month away from the official release of Bledsoe- McDaniels!

Harvest has officially begun, and today we are picking Syrah from our estate vineyard, Lefore. Stationed in the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater, this vineyard consistently provides us with exquisite fruit each year. We are excited to see what's in store for the 2019 vintage!

Ridgecrest vineyard in the Ribbon Ridge AVA of the Willamette Valley. Planted in 1982, it is one of the oldest vineyards in the Northwest and will be a part of our inaugural Pinot Noir release in 2020.

Syrah, clone 174, planted on head trained stakes. This block is south facing on terraces where every vine was jack hammered into the fractured basalt. Eventually, this will become a new single vineyard wine.

Our Lefore vineyard in the Rocks District of Milton-Freewater - a sub AVA of the Walla Walla Valley. This vineyard was planted in the mid 1990's and will be one of our inaugural releases in 2020.
