Hey guys, so I usually forget to attend to events because Apple's calendar doesn't have the feature of adding an urgent alarm as we for reminders. I found this app called InYourFace but it's paid, so I whipped up #claude and built mine with #electronjs.
What a time to be alive.
An unprecedented day in my history with PHP.
Some bumps along the way, but really proud of the @laravel team for working through the night ensuring all of our products and customers had patches available to them and, when possible, applied automatically.
Given the advancement of agents, it's quite possible this won't be the last time this happens, and it's likely PHP won't be the only language that goes through this. We built some solid muscle today to do even better next time.

This is a solid read and dare say appropriate argument as to why we need structure from a framework. It’s preserves the human in the loop with AI and still builds on the very platform we know and dare I say understand.

A very common issue with new #go devs is cyclic imports. That will teach you a lot and bring frustration to your life until to learn how to structure your codebase in a better and scalable way.
Caching can make a bad implementation look fast. Couldn’t have said that better. Reason why it’s good to profile first before just adding another layer or resource.
If a Laravel endpoint is slow, don't immediately add caching.
First ask why it's slow.
I've seen "performance fixes" hide:
→ N+1 queries
→ Missing indexes
→ Unnecessary joins
→ Huge payloads
→ Repeated API calls
Caching can make a bad implementation look fast.
Fix the bottleneck first.
Then cache when caching actually makes sense.
