Gateway: The Sats Update (v0.7.7)
Ship fast, fix later. Now we have Sat compatibility in Gateway. It's messy but we'll tidy up when we're done.

Now you can enter any sat number and see details.
You can also use @rodarmor style sat names.
You can build a sat ranges index to unlock Ordinals.
Choose live or retained ranges (full Sat history).
Sats tracks inscription ownership.
Powered by Bitcoin Positional System.
Browser extension registers <number>.sat.
I'm purposefully keeping this version very blunt in my announcement delivery because I've been shipping daily feature updates, and it's important I give you the disclaimer that these 0.7 versions are for early public testing. I'm already noticing things that could be better. What I see so far though, it works. And we're almost finished with 0.7 versions now... just one more major feature to go before I tidy up around here.
The v0.7.8 update following this v0.7.7 is what you've all been waiting for... Bitmap! The most exciting and neccesary update for our community, including Bitmap Standard indexing, and Bitmap Chain validation and comparison against alternate rulesets. I will ship the /Blockamoto/bitmap repo with it to include full details on Bitmap Standard, and Bitmap Chain. Gateway will be it's first implementation.
If you're worried that I'm changing core ruleset, that's not the case. The ruleset stays. The Bitmap Standard ruleset keeps core ruleset and makes specific certain points that were assumed to be obvious.
Anyway, this update is supposed to be about Sats...

Gateway: The Addresses Update (v0.7.6)
You can now index current OR historical Bitcoin addresses, show balances, UTXO's, and inscriptions.

The current addresses index gives you all the addresses that currently have sats in them, their balances, and UTXO's.
The historic index allows for complete historic data for each and every Bitcoin address ever used, and each UTXO that ever touched it.
There's a lot that can be done with this data!
But I won't pretend to know all the possibilities.
The Bitcoin Positional System is extremely helpful here, because instead of using a hash:outpoint, we can use BPS and point to the exact position of the prevout. This is at the core of our deeper indexes. It's extremely lightweight and human readable.
Now we have everything we need for the Sats index, and for it to be useful. That will be the next update, and following that, Bitmap! And once that's done, I'd like to do a stabilization and user friendliness and quality of life pass to really just tighten everything up, it's currently quite messy and all over the place, and to give you more timeline control and parrallel indexing, and maybe one more surprise feature, before we lock-in and version up to v0.8.0.
For now, here's v0.7.6:

Here is an interoperability convention for bitmap.
It sits in the Product section, along with some additional words on how bitmap prescribes no interpretation or product standards, and inherits Ords features. Not yet pushed to main.

This in no way conflicts with any existing standards, it simply recommends a way for products to write standards that are interoperable with existing metadata and leave the content field alone for users to reinscribe anything they want, not product-specific.
The Bitmap Standards
I've just published bitmap GitHub, with the refined Standards for Districts and Parcels. It serves to clarify any grey areas.

很多人跟我说 Bitmap 太多了，每天还在增发。
我反而担心不够用。面对未来数以亿计的 AI，如果 Bitmap 要成为它们的生存坐标，一百多万个一级区块根本不够分。
以前想过用父子铭文无限扩展，比如 9.911534.bitmap 这种。但出来的地址全是数字，太冷、太机械，没有名字该有的辨识度和个性。
BITMAPVERSE 这个实验给了我新的想法：一级 Bitmap 可以当成 AI 世界的“邮编”，真正给每个 AI 绑定身份和信用的，是 Name → District 这种名字绑定。
在 BITMAPVERSE 的方案里，我更看到了双边 BIP-322 签名的重要性。持有一级 Bitmap 的人可以决定是否授权绑定，这意味着今后有机会通过收租获得持续收益。这不只是多了一种赚钱方式，更是给 AI 世界的底层建设补上了关键一块。
相比很多把数学游戏包装成高大上金融产品的做法，这种基于真实所有权和授权的收益，我觉得更接近加密世界里该有的金融逻辑。
这也是我一直关注 @btcreevolution 的原因。

I feel like this is more of a concept to show that we can build worlds on ordinals. The top part of the map will come into being as the new blocks arrive.
The globe is about 716 km around, which is roughly 445 miles. For comparison, Earth is about 40,075 km around, so the globe is roughly 1/56th of Earth’s size
