I really like this bip39 passphrase steel plate design by @blockplate because it supports numbers + special characters and its pretty long.
Backup your passphrase and store it in a seperate location from your seed, in case you die (or you forget).
that’s a lot of metal🔥💦🔨

Visited a collector's home yesterday. Almost three years on and 1 BTC is still hidden within Timechain #3's steel plate core
Fun brainstorming session on possible prints 👀
A new address doesn't mean its from a new account necessarily.
But a new account will result in new addresses.
An account can have multiple addresses and their transactions are all added up together to get the account balance.
When you lose your seed phrase but still have your wallet you better be immediately creating a new wallet to send your coins to.
When you don't have the keys to your coins, you don't have the unrestricted ability to send those coins.
When you have those keys, you can do whatever you want with your coins and nobody can stop you.
When you leave your coins on an exchange, it's "held" with their private keys and any “ownership” to you is simply an IOU note
But, what happens when you come to collect and they don’t have enough coin to fulfill that IOU…🤔
Take control of your #bitcoin in 10 steps

There are only 8 potential last words for a 24 word seed phrase. (128 for a 12 word)
Leaving out the last word is not a safety mechanism (nor any words).
Self-custody isn’t supposed to be easy nor convenient.
It’s supposed to give you independence and control.
#bitcoin at 10k or 100k, security should be taken seriously as though it’s at 1m
