sylus' random love for confetti is such an endearing detail to me - when i think of things like his love for music too it almost reads to me like he surrounds himself with traditionally joyful things because he doesn't trust himself to adequately emote on his own

my favorite sylus moment from DAR is still when he puts exploding confetti in the box for mc. he really wanted to lighten the mood for mc knowing she was about to revisit intense trauma but he spends all his time in the dark with two 18 year olds and doesn't know how 😭 +
