Solid team win for our guys today vs. Freeport. Still have a lot of work to do to get better, but to get scores from offense, defense, KOR and a couple field goals is the team football we need to play! On to East! #RTB

Joseph Brown missed more than half of last season with an injury. He's already making up for lost time with this 90-yd KR for TD Saturday in @bluethunderfb 48-18 win at Freeport. @_josephbrown_ @BNHSSports
Great play Nick, huge play for our team in this game!

I can't remember the last time a team willed themselves to victory like @bluethunderfb did tonight against Boylan. @BNHSSports just made the big play every time it mattered.

Pure ELECTRICITY at Milt Brown Stadium tonight! @bluethunderfb takes down Boylan to remain undefeated. – at Rockford, IL
Great job by our players and coaches sticking together, dealing with the ups and downs of this game and our players making huge plays! Huge shout out to @BNorthBlueCrew and our fans for being such a huge part of the game!!
The 2nd half of the Hono-Harlem game last week took my breath away. This game between the @Boylan_Football and @bluethunderfb topped it! This is why I love covering H.S. football! @NICOBERTOLINO2 @nickwinters27 @FinnaJB @BNorthBlueCrew @BNHS_Thunder mystateline.com/sports/high-…

Another good win last night against East, 22-0. Was a hard fought and physical game on both sides of the ball. @bluethunderfb – at Illinois, USA
Awesome catch by @FinnaJB yesterday to get us in field goal range right before the end of the first half!
My favorite HS football plays this week:
1. @RTHS_Football with a 4th down touchdown! Hayden Inman to David Gerber leading the way to a week 1 W!
2. @BNHSSports making big plays in the 2 min drill. Maddox Gyllenswan with a good ball, Joseph Brown with a CRAZY catch.

Great team win by our guys today vs. Freeport 45-14! Offense, defense and special teams all with strong efforts in week 1 and love the energy our sideline brought! #RTB #EffortAttitudeTeam
Great job @NICOBERTOLINO2!! Your hard work and attention to detail is paying off big time!
Very happy to be named the Nic-10 conference MVP for Track&Field! Big thanks to all of my coaches who helped get me there! @CoachBigPete @DeepDishFB @BNHSSports @lemminginsider rrstar.com/story/sports/high…
Shout out to North athletes and coaches!!
Though our winner is no one new, who you have to beat to get there is. Check out where your team ranked. rrstar.com/story/sports/2022…
Happy Father’s Day to all of our Blue Thunder Football dads out there!! #NorthFamily
One of the best defensive players I have ever coached, also one of the best teammates I’ve seen in high school football. Congrats Aaron!!
