Yeah I'm sorry, but fuck this dumb take. The candidates in Maine were not both equally 'duds.' Janet Mills was a completely normal governor, who was old (in the oldest state in the country). Graham Platner was a nazi-tattooed rapist, who his supporters ignored countless red flags to push as some hero. Janet Mills, without the insane primary 'challenge', wins easily. Graham Platner loses in disgrace. It's good that it worked out in the end, but we had to go through months of gaslighting and he had to be bludgeoned out of the race, by the women he abused, after refusing numerous off-ramps to do it earlier. I know everything is a game to you guys but that shit was harmful and not everyone has the memory of a goldfish.
Maine is the more fun state to fight about anyway; Schumer backed a dud, the left backed a dud, but the left’s backup candidate turned out to be a winner and nobody’s now saying “I wish we nominated the woman turning 79 next month.”

Leader @HakeemJeffries announces Democrats’ agenda starting on Day One: —Launch new oversight efforts to crack down on Trump’s corruption —End Trump’s war of choice in Iran and lower gas prices —Reverse Trump’s Medicaid cuts —Reverse Trump’s SNAP cuts —End the Trump tariffs to lower prices —Extend the ACA tax credits to lower health care costs

Everything she says in this video is, of course, 100% correct. And people will, of course, choose to dismiss it because they (a) have no clue how Congress works & don’t care to learn, and (b) are never happier than when they’re getting likes for relitigating old Dem primaries.
For anyone who thinks we need an activist in a leadership position, watch this video.

A speaker and the majority leader’s job is to bring bills to the floor that they have whipped up the votes for. If your Fantasy Fave cannot get 218 votes in the house or 51 in the Senate. They have already failed in their ability move the caucus.

This guy is blaming Jefferies for bills that died in the Senate while the Republicans are in power. Reintroduce a civics course for Americans please.
The vite still failed in the Senate, which means Jeffries hasn't accomplished anything, idiot!

El Sayed is not controversial for being Arab or Muslim - he is criticized for promoting political Islam and supporting terrorist organizations whose explicit goal it is to infiltrate foreign governments and expand the power of radical Islam. That is the difference between the majority of Muslims and the Muslim brotherhood (which also oppresses them).
I’m so sick of seeing people across social media claim Abdul El-Sayed is only getting heat “because he’s a Muslim man.” That’s not the reason. Other Muslims have been elected to office without this reaction. Repeating it just makes you look stupid. Here are the actual problems: 1- In 2012 he signed a letter to Mohamed Morsi (the Muslim Brotherhood president of Egypt) supporting his power grab and calling on him to “purge the media and the police as quickly as possible.” 2- His biological mother, Fatten Elkomy, worked for the Islamic American Relief Agency (IARA), which the U.S. Treasury designated for supporting terrorism. His half-sister has publicly said their mother was active in the Muslim Brotherhood in Egypt in the 1970s. 3- His half-sister Eman Abdelhadi posted on social media about their mother’s Muslim Brotherhood activism and expressed support for family members backing the Brotherhood in Egypt. 4- He refused to condemn the IRGC when directly asked by an Iranian-American student whose family was targeted by them. Leaked audio also shows he deliberately stayed silent on Khamenei’s death because “there are a lot of people in Dearborn who are sad,” prioritizing his base over basic condemnation of a terrorist regime. 5- His father, Mohamed El-Sayed, sits on the board of Life for Relief and Development, a Michigan-based Islamic charity that paid a $780,000 settlement to the U.S. Treasury for violating sanctions by transferring money into Saddam Hussein’s Iraq. The group has also faced raids and scrutiny over alleged ties to terror-linked networks. These are documented facts.

Being a parent to a very young child is very humbling. Had a stressful day at work? Worried about something? Your toddler Absolutely Does Not Care. What the heck is an election? Does it involve apple sauce or swings? No? Then it doesn’t matter.

Working behind the scenes. Just because they haven’t been sliding into your DMS doesn’t mean they’ve been doing nothing, people.
Rep. @RobertGarcia: We've been meeting with Leader Jeffries on oversight for months now. And so he's been very supportive of the work of accountability.

The work is not done. If you are impacted by the Medicaid changes, call your representatives and let them know. Mom shared how much her put of pocket will be. She and everyone deserve better and i convinced her to ring the damn phone off the hook . Get on in! #BlueWave2026

Jennifer Welch represents the very worst of the online left influencers and I cannot take seriously anyone who does not see that she has horrible judgment and horrible character.

Do you know why republicans spent 30 years making shit up about Hillary Clinton? Because they’re ALL afraid of Hillary Clinton. Why are they afraid of Hillary Clinton? Well, because, when she was a young lawyer, she is one of the people who got Nixon. She wrote the briefs that put his people in jail. Don’t fuck with Hillary Clinton.
He’s never been in my house. He’ll never be in my house. Thank you for your attention to the matter of my house.

Dear Jew-hating Philly "Boycott Ride" organizers: If you don't like our small business owners, wait till you meet our lawyers. Here is what @NJACLaw has already done in preparation for your antisemitic stunt: 1) Enforcement letters to the AG, DA, and Police Commissioner, reminding them which statutes apply, which specific crimes trigger it, and providing the proof of motive. 2) Preservation notices to each of you, explaining that litigation is anticipated and that deleting relevant evidence to prevent its use in court can lead to sanctions, including a jury instruction that the missing evidence was unfavorable to you. 3) Organized volunteers and lawyers on site so we have a litigation-grade record ready. No he-said/she-said disputes this time. Play stupid games win stupid prizes. Game on.

Still no lawsuit filed, so I believe Vanity Fair... and that's very damaging for Jared.
We formally put Vanity Fair and Condé Nast on notice regarding the false and defamatory allegations published about our client, Jared Kushner. Serious questions are now being raised about the credibility of this reporting, including by independent journalists. Despite repeated requests, the author has failed to produce a single bank statement, wire transfer record, account number, or other verifiable evidence supporting these extraordinary accusations. We have seen no indication that Vanity Fair conducted any independent verification of these claims before publishing them. We call on Vanity Fair to clarify publicly whether it independently verified these allegations and, if so, what evidence supports them. Or did it simply republish the author’s claims without conducting its own fact-checking? We have demanded that Vanity Fair remove the article and preserve all records relating to its reporting, fact-checking, editorial review, and publication. Letter attached. More to come.

while workers in China were begging to be paid at least a small amount as they received no wages, suki waterhouse and her best friend threw lavish parties for their brand and insisted that they have no money in their bank accounts
suki waterhouse has a weird definition of what 'devastating' is, considering that she apparently hired Chinese workers to make bags for her brand and somehow didn't bother to pay them what they were owed
