My wife lost her father when she was 9; the church just started not long before. Since 1992, the Bishop has taken care of all three children, sent them to school, and ensured the widow had a roof and an assignment that gives her income to date. Hetook responsibility for raising the children, till they married. Since I lost my father 24 years ago, the Bishop has continued to fill the void in my life. There are thousands of children without parents on his organised sponsorship. And you think when some of us grow up; we won't gift a man through whose tutelage our lives became better, anything money can afford? This man has left indelible marks on many lives than we can count. Thank you, Reno!

My grandson just got four 9’s and 5 8’s for GCSE. Jilly his mum died in February of a Glioblastoma and to achieve this after helping to care for her for 17 months is just amazing. Off he goes to the Maths school Exeter. @BrainTumourOrg @shitscaredmum

Love builds and does not isolate.

Looking back, I understand that love should uplift and empower, not control and diminish. I learned the importance of self-worth and the strength it takes to walk away from something that no longer serves you, no matter how much you once cherished it.

The fastest way to build your faith is to hear words spoken out of your own lips. What you repeatedly declare, your heart feeds on. Speak the word only. Let your ears listen to the word coming out of your own lips, and faith for the impossible will manifest itself in you with ease. #MondayMotivation

Don't let the canker worm(bitterness) eat up years of your life in unproductiveness and waste. Learn to let go of offence. The world doesn't spin around you. Get over yourself. Not everything will go the way you want or have prayed. Realise times of "disappointment" create massive opportunities. Be watchful and stay expectant.

Yesterday I made my “yes” to Christ public. My testimony is one of my favorite stories to tell but for now, I’ll just say to God be the glory🤍

have the temerity to verbalise them, in public. I’ll refer you back to those who, today, have chosen the path of defending the original words uttered: those with the most power who chose to protect their own, at the expense of black women.

Any black woman with a public profile understands the armour of steel you have to wrap around yourself to simply do your job. The threats and abuse go hand in hand with turning up to work. So, it’s a problem when what is clearly racism & abuse is defended 1/

In 1981, Dr. Michael Shannon worked tirelessly through the night to successfully rescue a premature baby boy. 30 years later, in 2011, Dr. Shannon was trapped in his burning SUV following a collision with a semi-truck. Miraculously, he was rescued from the blazing vehicle by Chris Trokey, a paramedic with the Orange County Fire Authority. Remarkably, it was revealed that Chris Trokey was the same premature baby Dr. Shannon had delivered three decades earlier.

Whatever happens to you, never play the victim card. Jesus never guaranteed there will be no tests or trials infact he said "in this world ye shall have tribulation." "Shall" in law means it is a must but he then said "be of good cheer I have overcome them" The attitude shouldn't be that of a victim seeking sympathy but of a victor rejoicing. This is how you get off the sidewalk of being a spectator and join the move of God which is a triumphant parade. Don't get confused or shocked, Jesus guaranteed two things, tribulation and victory. You connect with the victory through the spirit of joy in the crisis. Be wise, don't be captured in bitterness live out the victory of Christ.
