With the election coming up, I really recommend watching By Any Means. It follows a Black FBI agent investigating the murder of Vernon Dahmer, a civil rights activist. A lot of history worth understanding, especially right now.

Vernon Dahmer dedicated his life to helping Black Americans exercise their right to vote. He helped people register, offered to pay their poll taxes, and stood against voter suppression in Mississippi. In 1966, the KKK murdered him for it. His story deserves to be known.
