On this day in 1999, Cartoon Network aired a 24-hour Scooby-Doo marathon for Halloween. The marathon was filled with little clips between episodes parodying THE BLAIR WITCH PROJECT which had been released in theaters just a few a few months earlier.

the whole arc with AS was fielder saying to her (and the audience), “what are you seeing here? she got me, right? but like you see how she got me, even when i was actively trying not to be got? you’re seeing what i’m seeing, right??? she also got you for a second, right???”
I'm convinced Holmes is a case of knowingly weaponizing her own incompetence. She really doesn't understand a lot, but she intentionally keeps herself out of the loop, misunderstanding, not getting the joke, to try and convince people that she's being played.
Even worse I think she's convinced this IS a form of innocence. Its easier to perform her bullshit when she believes it wholeheartedly.
Grappling with how much of this was likely an intentional portrayal on Fielder's part but its crazy how high strung, wired, and sniffly Billy was post Holmes going to prison.
There's like such a disconnect with what Billy is and isn't willing to show on camera. Almost like he wants to make himself look worse to make Holmes look better. His silicon valley ego is maybe having them both convinced he's making all the right choices but he looks like a-
