"that was never actually implemented" I don't know what the statute of limitations should be on discussing this stuff, but I do know it gets pushed further down the line every time this bunch of authoritarian goobers tries to lie about it
Replying to @jessesingal
Should there be any statute of limitations on re-surfacing a 2020 article in which a C-list celebrity advocates an act of censorship that was never actually implemented? Can we stop doing that in 2030 or 2035, or do you agree with Kat that we should "never" stop?

I should really stop taking this bait but the notion that poor people, minorities, etc, are "excluded" by the expectation that they vote without someone handholding them through every step of the process? I believe this is what is known as "saying the quiet part loud"
These people are always "just asking questions" and opining on "'common sense' proposals" in ways that extremely coincidentally and not at all intentionally tailor an electorate that's moneyed and reactionary and excludes poorer people, younger people, and minorities.

A federal court certified a class that includes "any child who has been born or will be born in the United States after February 19, 2025." If unborn children can sue to vindicate their right to citizenship, I wonder what other rights they can sue to vindicate. Interesting!
