I kinda hope that the Backend Tunables system gets used a fuck ton.
Like anything connected to number values? Add them onto it.
Each week a different perk or killer is buffed thanks to it.
Hey @DbDPulse, not sure if you're up to answering some questions just throw at you, but on July 2025 the team did talk about separating and updating both report and commendation systems.
As of now, we only got the option to write in our in-game reports. What happened to this?
Not to be a negative fuck with my comment.
But the more stuff that comes out about the fnaf chapter the more I dislike it's addition to dbd overall.
Talks between BHVR and Scott began as early as 2022 with major considerations for a Chapter mostly happening in 2023. It was meant to be the Anniversary Chapter for 2024, but after BHVR pulled out (spoke of this before), they replaced it with Dungeons & Dragons which was originally planned for August 2024.
Once BHVR gave in to Scott’s contract, it was then set in stone as the 2025 Anniversary Chapter in July 2024, one of his contractual obligations being an early announcement, which happened in August 2024.
A fact I’ve never shared before is that they scrapped a “really cool”, *full* original Chapter that had already been planned for the 2025 Anniversary to put in FNAF instead as Scott and BHVR both agreed it had to be an Anniversary Chapter and nothing less.
That planned Chapter has not come out and won’t come out since it majorly related to the now ended Twisted Masquerade. It wasn’t possible to move it to a later date since it was meant to be the “last and biggest hurrah” of the Event, finishing off Rewards for last few originals, as well as adding two new special Characters. There were not enough Characters otherwise for Event Rewards so it had to be ended early, replaced, and not fully realized after all. No further details. Sorry for any vagueness.
If Pinhead is to be considered M1 then there's no reason to not call Houndmaster an M1 killer too, same thing for Singularity.
Also, Ghoul is arguably ranged, not dash, his bite may look like a dash but it's just a ranged, hitscan attack in disguise
As a reminder, the more dismissive an answer is, the more likely to have something in it.
Remember "no commentary" for Jason at the interview for the end of 2025?
Mathieu Cote in interview with @TheKingTwitch & @PaulieEsther1:
King: "Last year the team said Foxy was not forgotten, what happened to that?"
Mathieu: "Yeaaah, pass."
With a new dbd discord chanmel dedicated for questions we, as a community, need to press the devs on issues of the game. Do not be shy on asking questions, if enough people ask we will get an answer. And most importantly, do make constructive feedback. A rant is not a question.
I have to wonder why this rift is getting store merch.
Like, what does it have that makes it special?
Some lessons stay with you forever. 📖
Class is back in session with this mini collection inspired by the Academia Rift, now available in the store. 🔗 dbd.game/4s7UUDx
According to Nightlight Shoulder is currently on the number 38 of pick rate. If next patch Shoulder does not go up to the top 15 AT LEAST than the solo q claim is bullshit and it should be made single use again.
With the 10.2.0 update just around the corner, let's take a look at some of the changes happening between the PTB and the Live release. Thank you to everyone who shared feedback along the way!

The biggest crime of this post os treating Outlast Trials as a fucking asymmetrical game.
Imagine they make it so Art pulls his weapons from the bag through pure rng, making him legit a gambleslop killer

“The "fortnitification" of dbd will not happen due to unfit licenses or color rarity changes. It will happen with the reduction of potential chapters into mere cosmetic collections. (1/3)”
Love how, even if it was real, this implies that "The Bounty Hunter" is better than "The Deathslinger". Like, thank God the dev threw a fit.
Replying to @DBDConfess
“anyway everyone voted for bounty hunter and one of the devs threw a fit in the chat and said he thought of deathslinger and it was what they were going with.
What im saying is if you give feedback the developers don't like you are going to be ignored.”
"The counterplay is to juke every single power usage until you die" is that not the counterplay of like, 90% of the killers?
Replying to @DBDConfess
“The counterplay is to juke every single power usage until you die. When the entire counterplay is 50/50's, it is insufferably boring. You lose every single anti-tunnel, anti-slug, or anti-camp perk due to Exile, because you are bound to get hit by power.”
