I practiced law for a few years.
Then I quit.
Now I spend weekends off-grid in my RV, take cross-country road trips, and spend my summers in Europe.

A UK trial of a 4-day workweek with 61 companies was so successful that 54 kept it, and most made it permanent, per NPR.
Employees worked less but stayed just as productive, with some companies seeing revenue grow by 35%. Workers also reported better health, less burnout, and even losing weight.

Newcomers to Bitcoin may not understand why old timers care so much about Ross Ulbricht. Let me explain.
He embodied the ethos of early Bitcoin more than anyone. He was an entrepreneur who created a thriving marketplace.
He believed in radical freedom, including the freedom to trade anything with anyone else so long as it was peaceful and voluntary.
He regularly wrote about his views on freedom and why he built the first truly successful Bitcoin business - the Silk Road. He wanted to created a better world and believed his principles deeply.
Politicians like Schumer targeted both Silk Road AND Bitcoin as criminal enterprises that needed to be shut down.
When he was convicted the judge and the establishment threw the book at him. He was a first time, non violent criminal and they locked him up and effectively threw away the key.
In the early Bitcoin community we all felt how unjust this was. It was like they were locking up one of our own out of spite for what we all believed was a peaceful revolution.
Now tens of millions of people own Bitcoin and many just because of Number Go Up. Never forget there was a deeper purpose here and that getting rich is a nice side effect of that greater purpose.
Fix the money, fix the world.

If Red Dye No. 3 was banned by the FDA then why do manufacturers have 2 years to continue to potentially HARM people before they have to remove it?
They should PULL IT FROM SHELVES NOW.
It was removed from cosmetics over 30 years ago due to health risks, yet it was allowed to stay in food and candy. SMH
Studies have shown that Red No. 3 in animals have been linked to cancer.

Go for it. Go all in. Commit to an idea, an art form, or a dream to the point that your own friends and family begin to think that you've gone fucking crazy. Either you will get everything you've ever wanted or you will be blessed with the knowledge of knowing that you put it all out there. And, I don't know about you, but I'd rather be remembered as a failure because I tried than forgotten all together because I attempted nothing with my life.

3 major problems with @NIH funding are:
1) grants are given for work already largely completed (you read right); better would be for past performance & future, high-payoff plans
2) older labs have too many grants & the young fresh ideas labs can’t get funded
3) outdated budgets
