Three years ago today, we lost Adam Johnson. ❤️ “Are you going to do something out there this period?” Adam asked me with a big smile on his face. Those were the last words I would ever hear from him. I responded, “I’m still waiting for you to pass me the puck. Go get that thing. Up, up.” Something our coach always used to say. That was Adam, always smiling, joking, and finding ways to make someone’s day better. Three years later, I still see the impact he had on me and how much those little moments matter. Adam taught me that verbs, not labels, define us. It's not our titles or accomplishments, but how we treat people. Make someone smile. You never know which moment they'll carry with them forever. Miss you, Adam.
