Ord 0.29.1 is now available! A couple of notable changes: - Correctly deserialize Bitcoin Core RPC responses containing anchor outputs - New recursive endpoint `/r/block/<QUERY>` that returns the entire block Share and enjoy! github.com/ordinals/ord/releโ€ฆ

I made a small bitmap clip creator using @boppleton's LiveOCI and pulling data from the Ordinals API. Feel free to use AI to modify or use it as a starting point for another idea bitlodo.github.io/bitmap-cliโ€ฆ github.com/bitlodo/bitmap-clโ€ฆ

We vibe coded a gltf.report for vrms (for personal reasons). Can upload and check out properties of vrm on desktop/tablet/mobile. It is open source and really easy to expand features. #threejs vrm-stats.com/ github.com/saori-eth/vrm-repโ€ฆ

ord 0.22.0 introduced a new recursive endpoint: /r/tx/:txid This unlocks an entirely new category of inscriptions, allowing you to incorporate data from any Bitcoin transaction into an inscription. To make working with TX data simpler, I inscribed a widely used library for handling Bitcoin โ€” scure-btc-signer โ€” as part of @TheWizardsOfOrd Elements libraries. โž” ordinals.com/inscription/399โ€ฆ Hereโ€™s an inscriptions demonstrating how you can use it. โž” ordinals.com/content/69696f0โ€ฆ

What are๐Ÿซต๐Ÿผplanning to do w/ your๐ŸŸงBitmap? Have you seen anything that has excited or inspired you to consider what is possible? Share content of which projects have made you say "YES, that's what I want to do to mine!" in the comments & tag them. Lets get๐Ÿ‘€on Bitmap๐ŸŸงbuilders.
The Giga Minds Behind the ๐ŸŸงBlocks Of Bitcoin The giga๐Ÿง  minds behind @BlocksOfBitcoin ๐ŸŸง are exactly the visionaries you need to stay dialed into. Theyโ€™re not just talking about innovationโ€”theyโ€™re actively pushing the technical boundaries of the Bitcoin ecosystem. Itโ€™s refreshing to see a team thatโ€™s actually building meaningful solutions. Hereโ€™s why you should be paying attention: One of their most groundbreaking accomplishments to date is the creation of the Quark20 Miner. This achievement makes them the firstโ€”and so far the onlyโ€”team to successfully execute a cross-chain transaction between Bitcoin and Ethereum using a self-custody Bitcoin inscription (ordinal) via @Quark20HQ. This technical milestone opens doors to a wealth of untapped possibilities, with its broader potential still being explored. But thatโ€™s not all. Theyโ€™ve also developed the first-ever qAI assistant operating across chains on Bitcoin. This innovation aligns with their โ€œbuild-to-learn, learn-to-buildโ€ ethos, propelling their vision for immersive world-building integration. This qAI implementation has been woven into their latest project, @nakamotomatrix, a Bitcoin 3D digital world. While still a work in progress, early access plots are already available via @MEonBTC. Their digital world isnโ€™t just about aesthetics; itโ€™s rooted in Bitcoinโ€™s foundational principlesโ€”security, decentralization, immutability, and self-sovereign transferability. Beyond this, it leverages cutting-edge tech like ordinal theory, Bitmap, and Unreal Engine to create the most dynamic and engaging user experience possible, empowering creators with unparalleled UGC tools. If youโ€™re into AI, Bitcoin, the Metaverse, Ordinals, Gaming, Education, or content creation, these are the pioneers you want on your radar.

๐ŸŸง๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿค”#Bitmap Thoughts: Do Metaverses Have Ghettos? It's permissionless, the Bitmap. If you have a single transaction bitmap, inscribe your parcel. Inscribe 99 more. It's bitcoin. Inscribing 99 additional parcels to a single transaction bitmap can't be prevented, it's permissionless. It can just be called names. Wrong. Invalid. Barcel, perhaps. But you STILL HAVE 99 additional places to express yourself that could be accessed via your bitmap's numbering system through the application of Parent/Child relationships, and no one can take that away once you stuff it into a satoshi. Your parcel inscriptions are still on-chain, with provenance to the bitmap, whether it's "invalid" or not. Lean into this, I say. Just call the example of the 99 "invalid parcels", "ghetto" if you must call them anything other than "parcel," but still treat them as the destinations they are. We can call Bitmaps that don't have a ghetto, "pristine." We can rate Bitmaps based on their "pristineity" (pretty sure that should be a word because it's quite fun to say), the non-arbitrarily defined parcels are pristine, while the others are "ghetto." The more ghetto you have, the less pristine the Bitmap. See, this is going to happen at some point. It might as well just be recognized for what it is now, this "world" we're all building... It's permissionless. This is a digital frontier, where scarcity is measured in bytes, not imagination. Don't measure your imagination with scarcity that can't be applied, because your imagination is as it should be, immeasurable. But that numbering system ... the address system that Bitmap is... That's still valuable and usable and a pristine idea to encompass what it means to try and "build the metaverse" on bitcoin. In polite society, you need an address at which you can build. This has been...๐ŸŸง๐Ÿ’ญ๐Ÿค”Bitmap Thoughts... ๐Ÿคท

Woo my pr got merged! Generative art on bitcoin just got a huuuge upgrade! /r/undelegated-content/<INSCRIPTION_ID> Now you can have a delegated inscription reach into its own envelop where it could have a ton of unique data. like an entire inscription worth of unique data!! Delegates are a very good way to create generative art engines like we did with @bookofblob Metadata is what makes each blob unique it seeds the blob engine with its metadata. When I made blob I realized this is powerful but we need to remove this arbitrary limitation of having only being able to do this with /r/metadata. Thats where the idea of this new endpoint originated. Why can't we drive a delegate with a full inscription I asked? Then I made the PR Now if you want to make generative art driven by a delegate engine and seeded by a large file like say a GLB file or EEG brain data. Well now you can. What will you use this for? Also remember don't get fucking rekt trying to use this endpoint now. Wait until its in the next ord release. It could change.
Delegate inscriptions can themselves have unique inscriptions inside their envelopes. These inscriptions are inaccessible! What if you could access this data? Introducing "/r/delegator/:id" Currently when you create a generative engine like I did with Blob you can only seed generation with unique data from the onchain metadata. Each blob is unique because it seeds the blob engine from its metadata. Each blob inscription has no content inscribed only metadata making them incredibly efficient at using blockspace. However metadata is in CBOR and is limited size. This limits your options. However with "/r/delegator/:id" you get the entire content of the inscription which could be a large file maybe even 4mb. You could use this to inscribe file types not supported in the browser. How? You create a rendering engine for the file type as the delegate and in the content of the delegator you put the file. Then anyone who wants to render that filetype can simply delegate the rendering engine. github.com/ordinals/ord/pullโ€ฆ
