It's clear that Madhubala’s issues are once more caused by poor husbandry coupled with a lack of care or expertise & compounded an absence of effective supervision @Murtazawahab1 @KmcPakistan #WhenFourPawsGo

Four Paws left to clear up the mess created by the systemic failures of #KarachiSafariPark Management & @KmcPakistan over and over! What happens #WhenFourPawsGo this time??? @Murtazawahab1

Four Paws originally meant to manage the elephant enclosure at #KarachiSafariPark but @Murtazawahab1 wouldn’t allow this consequently the #Karachielephants have been left to suffer and die Due to the systemic failures of #KarachiSafariPark management

Had Four Paws retained day-to-day mgmt of the 🐘🐘 as originally planned they would not be in this dire situation! The expertise & will to keep #Karachielephants safe & well is absent in #Karachi @Murtazawahab1

The theme of #WorldSightDay is all about care & awareness, but the Valley Zoo remains blind to Lucy's pain.
Decades of hiding severe respiratory issues behind public relations won't erase the cruelty of her confinement.
We 👀 her, even if the city refuses to. #EveryStoryCounts

It's #WorldSightDay, but YOU 🇨🇦need to open our 👀 to the tragedy in our own backyard.
#Lucy the 🐘 has spent decades enduring 🥶 winters in isolation. 🐘 are deeply social & suffer immensely alone.
See the suffering.

The documentary Lucy: The Stolen Lives of Elephants brought her hidden suffering to light.
We don't want more statements or delays we want action.
Edmonton, 🛑blocking & start moving Lucy to a sanctuary.

Edmonton admits keeping 🐘is unsustainable & vowed never to get another one.
So why spend millions in tax dollars to hold Lucy hostage in solitary confinement.
Cut the political losses, 🛑the waste, & let her go to a sanctuary.

Every dollar spent maintaining a freezing, sub-standard elephant barn for a lone animal is money stolen from Edmonton’s roads, parks, and community services. Edmonton City Council: Stop funding a dead-end PR disaster. Free Lucy to a sanctuary.

To @CityofEdmonton: Keeping Lucy isolated isn't just cruel; it’s a political sinkhole.
You’ve already admitted the future of your zoo doesn't include 🐘. Why tank your city’s global reputation to keep ONE suffering animal caged @AndrewKnack

You can 👀the other way, Edmontons elected officials, but my suffering won’t go away until I'm in a sanctuary.
💔Keeping #Lucy isolated in a🥶 climate isn't leadership it's cruelty. Time to do the right thing and let me retire. #FreeLucy #LucyTheElephant #Edmonton @YEGMayorOffice
