I poured my all into this and today it hits shelves! Come for the dismantling of our obsession with victimhood & virtue-signaling and stay for the story about why a solid IRL community is far better than an online one. Cop, review, share. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart.

I spent a year working the apps for DoorDash, Uber, Amazon and more; saw disturbing things; brought people single cookies; probably delivered drugs; smashed up my nose; met people who made insane journeys to get you pad thai; wondered what we’re doing here simonandschuster.com/books/D…

Out of this moment, a great Luddite movement can begin. If you hate your coworkers sending you obviously AI emails. If you hate talking to the AI voice that answers the phone at your dentist’s office, join the Kang Dropout Commune movement today.

Tremendous, nuanced piece by @mjcontrera about our era of loneliness and digitally mediated intimacy. You come away with so much empathy for the mom and all she's dealing with that it's very hard to judge her (though easier to judge the AI platforms) newyorker.com/magazine/2026/…

If you’d like to know how we got to this point where parents feel like they have no choice but to pick the expensive pay to play route, do I have a book for you!
100% true. If you have a six year old who is any good at all in the US, your options currently are: A) cheap rec league soccer where your child gets zero coaching and no real competition OR B) shell out thousands per year to a travel club Completely broken system.
