When you go to a wedding and the table you’re on is named after your favourite pub @thechivertontap
Fabulous to see Colin in good spirits outside #homemcr We’ve been having brews together since the #cornerhouse days. Top fella #bigissuenorth
Hi @TraffordCouncil and @gmpolice. In light of the tragic events in #Magdeburg last night, can some consideration be given to closing Warwick Road to traffic by the Town Hall until 60 mins after the final whistle at @ManUtd games?? It’s a tragedy waiting to happen.

1. No one should struggle to stay warm this winter.
Libraries are warm and welcoming spaces, so call in for a chat, to get advice and get online.
Stay as long as you want.

Can’t stress enough what an amazing charity Maggie’s is. Even if you don’t fancy listening to us blather on (and who could blame you?) buy a ticket and leave before we get going.
More news! Why not come to see the podcast live in Didsbury? It promises to be a great evening. Get your tickets from linktr.ee/ohbrothershow. We’ll see you down there!
Great to be in St Peter’s Square in #roma. You guys have done a great job recreating the original St Peter’s sq in #Manchester
Brilliant reporting by @ManchesterMill and @harryshukman on the rise of the far-right. Worrying stuff :-(

Fascinating to listen to Joe Boyd at #manclibraries as part of #mif24. “All music is mongrel” is a great throw away line.
What a fantastic facility for #wythenshawe. Congrats to all involved.
Thrilled to be part of the brandnew #CreativeSpace at #WythenshaweForum 53 years to the day since the first play 'Waiting for Godot' 12 Oct 1971 at this iconic theatre - looking forward to brilliant new arts & live events in this community space @MCCWythenshawe

It's another beautiful September day that reminds me of that fateful day. It is sad and scary that someone can be killed for no other reason than the colour of their skin. How to convey the fear that people of colour live with everyday.....
Today marks 38 years since 13-year-old #AhmedIqbalUllah was tragically killed in a racist attack at Burnage High School in Manchester. His death sparked a brave campaign by his family, leading to the 1988 Macdonald Report, which confirmed racism played a key role in the murder.
For those of us Mancunians of a certain age, Piccadilly Radio was a big part of our lives. It's great then that the archives will be digitised and saved for future generations. #manclibraries #piccadillyradio
