Today marks 45 years since my granddad passed away. To the world, he was a football legend.
To me, he was my grandy.
His legacy was about more than football. It was about people, community, believing something could be better ā and having the courage to try to make it happen.
And he never forgot where he came from. Glenbuck was always part of him.
Forty-five years later, that connection is still very much there.
Legacy isn't what we leave behind.
It's what others choose to carry forward.
I hope we can continue to carry a little of his legacy forward.
