My abuela and aunt were some of the many affected by the earthquakes in Venezuela. All they have currently is the clothes on their backs, they were unable to get my grandma's wheelchair from the apartment. Please, if you can share or donate to help them. gofund.me/da630e2db

tomorrow,we’re going olive picking to make our olive oil for the year but my heart goes to the people of southern lebanon and palestine who have lost their olive trees to Israeli attacks. may they live to see their land flourish again.

Is that Oz "Child of he Blessed Revolution" Katerji being deployed to defend the criminalization of anti-genocide speech in the UK?
They spent 15 years building this guy up as an "authentic Arab voice".
The fact they're burning him now shows that they're really feeling it.

This shit got me crying laughing lmfao the failed filmmaker jumped out and wrestled with the theocratic fascist
I'd actually argue that horror is the most Christian genre of film. Obviously that's not true of the torture porn stuff -- films in the Texas Chainsaw Massacre tradition -- but supernatural horror is often subtly Christian and sometimes very explicitly Christian. It's the only category of film where the supernatural, demons, spirits, exorcisms, the Church, etc, are consistently taken seriously. The only genre where the priest might actually be the good guy. Horror has deep roots in Christian thought and tradition.
If you have a massive workload but 2 short films to edit (your films, mind you), do you power through or find an editor to take the load off?

People seem to think that the camera records and everything spills out onto an editing timeline and then is exported directly to their screen
