My hot take is that thinking SLAVES shouldn’t a) exist and b) DIE, and that LGBTQ people are, y’know, people, is not rooted in Islamophobia and presenting these atrocities as unavoidable, par for the course tenets of Islam is actually incredibly fucking harmful to Muslims.
