I feel a little sad for everyone watching La Bola Negra who doesn't understand Spanish because so much of the movie is in the intricacies of the language, the dialects, the turn of phrases. The way language evolved. The way Lorcas poetry is so apparent in Carlos, how Sebastian and Rafaels sides in the war comes through when they talk, how Alberto speaks to his boyfriend, his mother, Ramón. God I love my language.
