The Major Chunk of Equipments used for Operations of War Right From Entire Infantry Arsenal, Mechanised Infantry and Armoured Vehicles like Tanks ICV and other Tracked Vehicles, Long Range Artillery like Self Propelled Artillery, Rocket Artillery and Missile Regiments, UCAVs , Drones, remains with the Army. The Strategic Multilayered Air Defence and Integrated Air and Ballistic Missile Defence is responsibility of the IAF.
