This graphic tells you the slim difference in "starter" talent when it comes to college football. Conference championships & making the playoffs or 6-6 and barely making a bowl game. I bring this up because 1 of Tulane's 2 losses came to UTSA and it wasn't close...#NILLivesMatter
100%. I do think familiarly and trust between players goes along way too. For those CUSA championship years we had a nucleus of kids that not only played ball together or against each other but they actually grew up together. That definitely galvanized the teams IMO.
Reading through some of the comments today on Twitter and I’ve noticed more folks questioning Traylor’s tenure because he had Wilson’s recruits. I’ll say this, Coach Traylor is not above criticism for this season’s slow start however, questioning what he’s done over the last 3 years is a bit unreasonable. He definitely has more to prove but his system and leadership was the main factor we’ve realized the recent success we’ve had. Remember, Wilson did nothing with his own recruits. Traylor has earned our grace and patience.
😊
It’s Frank Harris’ birthday!
To celebrate, here’s him dissecting UNT in one of the most thrilling games in #UTSA history!
Happy birthday Frank!
Old school. Only thing I was missing was the neck roll. Played both ways so in between series I had to put back on my MMA gloves. If you played in the 80s or early 90s you know what I'm talking about. 👌🏾

Two San Antonio natives will square off this weekend with a Super Bowl trip on the line ksat.com/sports/2024/01/26/j…
God puts you right where you're supposed to be. Duke, Rice, even West Point wasn't the path. UTSA provided more than a degree. It provided a path and a foundation for the next 40 years 🤙🏾

NEWS: After retiring from football, ex-UTSA QB Frank Harris tells me his next role will be with @CityFans210, where he will serve as Executive Director overseeing #UTSA Football NIL.
Harris was offered coaching jobs by Jeff Traylor & Clemens HS, but wants to raise NIL awareness.
G5 has become a resume builder for P5. Can't be mad at the players but the NCAA has got to even the playing field or this will be our new reality.
