As soon as you start 4-1, it’s an issue when “bowl game at a minimum” enters the vocabulary But yes, I would say the path is there and needs to be taken. No one could spin a 1-7 collapse.

As much as I would be happy even going 5-7, I think if we slide from 4-1 to 5-7, I think that's curtains for Dell McGee unless that 5th win is TTDS. (Not that I think he should be fired.) At this point a bowl game should be the minimum. Coastal and Marshall gets us there?

I think the book is out on how to beat them and the right adjustment hasn’t been found to cover up the shortcomings And it all kinda spiraled at once at the start of the second half.

Defense seemed uninterested in playing that game. Bad angle, missed tackles, missed assignments... looked totally unprepared.

Probably the most concerning takeaway from last night: Bigger than anything between the white lines in Jonesboro, Georgia State and Dell McGee are now fighting the inevitability everyone is feeling that nothing has changed.
