Could be the last MEGATHREAD 🧵🧵 - judging by the huge reduction in engagement recently. Which in-turn suggested this topic. The reason why I do this. The reason why I pay for the tick. So people can see the journalism. Because that is what the Secret DJ project is for.
I did a solid 20 years of writing before the Secret DJ. Rarely got paid for it and compared to DJ wages in the 90s, who cared back then? A lot of it was fluff. But the thing that changed everything was GATECRASHERGATE.

The venue was Donington, known as Castle Donington, a town that host one of the best live shows on the 17th of August, 1991.
AC/DC took the stage for such an awesome performance of a track they called "Thunderstruck".
The massive crowd, amazing atmosphere, and that intro of 'Thunderstruck' and everything else is just pure rock and roll.

One of the original good eggs in our biz, and tragically it always seems to be the good ones who labour while the bad sorts prosper.

Rugby friends please help. My daughters u16 team are touring Devon in October. They're looking for a game Friday 5th Oct in SW Somerset/ NE Devon on way down M5; then in Devon on Sunday 7th Oct. We've contacted clubs, not all have U16 girls teams, some are unavailable. Any leads?
