This is absolutely heartbreaking. I’ve been coaching Gage on my son’s hockey team over the past year and he was such a bright spirit. My prayers go out to Lydia and the rest of their family and friends.

Utah is a cup contender at every single position except in goal.
Vejmelka will be the death of them. Time to play Cossa and see what you have in him.
Can't go into the playoffs (if they make it) with Vejmelka as the guy.
What a terrible response. The team should be able to rely on their goalie saving at least 90% of the shots he faces. Veggie is a .872 right now.
.833 and .706 the last two games alone. Those aren’t even AHL numbers.

“I’m trying to see that as, what can we do as a team? More than as one individual…it’s the same thing when we had tough times on the power play.”
“It’s a team sport and there’s things we do as a team where we need to do a good job to help our goalie.”
