A record year for Fortune 500 Women CEOs!
This year 44 women are running Fortune 500 companies, up from 41 last year. It's certainly progress, but only 8.8% of the largest companies are women-led.
There is still much more work to be done.

Congrats to @LauraClaireModi and @bobbiebabyco for a remarkable year 1🙌 I wish I had access to Bobbie when my two boys were infants!
The best part about growing Bobbie is giving parents the trust and confidence they have been waiting for in an infant formula. We are proud of our product and proud to support parents in their feeding journey with an USDA organic formula, founded by moms. techcrunch.com/2022/03/15/bo…

Home daycare is the future: it empowers providers to earn a living wage and helps families find childcare in their neighborhoods🏠👶
16,000 childcare providers shut down in the pandemic. That’s a really big deal for American families who may face higher costs and businesses struggling to find workers fortune.com/2022/02/09/child…
What's the solution? High-quality, affordable childcare so women don't need to have a ‘greedy job’ dilemma🍼
Thanks @karaemiller for highlighting this shocking and unfortunate wage gap.
So excited for this partnership with @The_Mom_Project 😍 We're committed to employing & supporting working moms.
We are proud to announce our partnership with @The_Mom_Project, a digital talent marketplace and community connecting professionally accomplished women with world-class companies for rewarding employment opportunities✨
Child care is simply not working, for both families and providers. Home daycare addresses the supply-side issue of childcare, while also empowering providers to become financially independent.
@anya1anya and @NPR show us the dire need for solutions in child care.
Parents and caregivers of kids under 5 — who are too young to be vaccinated — are in a special kind of hell right now.
There are nonstop quarantines. Confusing health guidance. Not enough rapid tests. And too few substitute teachers.

Imagine a world where working moms could find affordable, quality childcare in their neighborhoods. Solving the childcare crisis is one step to supporting working moms.
Thanks @ravensnook for putting numbers behind the reality of pandemic parenting!👏
As a working mom, I always feel a bit frazzled, but after 2 years of pandemic parenting I am completely burnt out. For @SheKnows I looked at #pandemicparenting by the numbers & it's not just me (or you!) We are struggling, but there's also hope: tinyurl.com/2dnbasp5
As a working mom of two, this resonates. The solution? In every neighborhood in families should have access to high quality and affordable home daycare.
Thanks @lindy2350 and @TheAtlantic for sharing the lived experience of covid parenting.

What if there was a daycare on every block and the US government subsidized the cost?
Thanks @AndrewRestuccia and @WSJ for revealing the lived reality of being a parent in America.
NEW: Parents around the country are struggling with child care. I went to Iowa to better understand the scale of the problem and how Democrats’ plan to remake the child care system would play out

The problem is clear: childcare is just not working for families. The solution? In every neighborhood in America families should have access to high quality and affordable home daycare.
Thanks @DanClarkReports and @timesunion for bringing attention to the childcare crisis in NY
ICYMI: New York's child care industry is struggling, but it wasn't looking great before the pandemic either. And the cost to parents will probably surprise you.
Why? Find out in this story I wrote for the @timesunion

“There is no playbook for women to succeed strategically in the workplace... only choice is to look at a long menu of tactics and pick and practice the ones that feel most comfortable for you.” As a working mom of two, I couldn't agree more @editoremacb
I loved talking to @svaneksmith about how to manage #discrimination as a woman #entrepreneur and mom. We speak in late January again at a live @TimesofE event. Here's a preview, including wisdom from @neuraltheory, @adeleBlim and Cecilia Ridgeway. forbes.com/sites/elizabethma…
