Mike Vrabel asked about the Will Campbell false start penalty late in the game: "I don't know. I'm not in very good favor with the officiating department, so I probably shouldn't say anything."
People are really THIS stupid, folks.
My conclusion after the game last night.
Caleb Williams the closest to Jayden Daniels in talent. Can’t deny it any longer even though he plays in a favorable scheme. That third down conversion in his own end zone was special.
Drake Maye is the modern day Alex Smith. Just ask him to manage the game & take the easy throws. As soon as you put the game in his hands you’ve lost the game.

its been time and its certainly time now to have that conversation
terrible vision, can't make anybody miss, horrific in pass protection

They called 19 penalties, but kept the whistles away for this and the DPI on AJ Brown’s deep ball.

Meanwhile Drake Maye was playing with his entire o line and receiving group on IR😂😂
"Caleb Williams has ascended into a category where you don't necessarily have to have supreme talent around him for his team to win."
@mspears96 weighs in on Caleb Williams following his performance against the Patriots 👏
2026 @Topps Heritage Football might just be the worst set of all-time. You may as well run your cash through a paper shredder. Absolute dogshit and borderline theft. Fuck Topps. Never thought I'd say it but @PaniniAmerica might be better. This hobby is a mess.

if you consider the volume of pressure combined with his stats against pressure
11/12, 151 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 146.5 rtg, 50% pressure rate
drake maye had one of the greatest games under pressure i've ever seen

"For all of you that sold your Drake Maye stock - you're out of your mind. This kid is so talented... He has got to carry so much of the load."
@colincowherd thinks the Patriots need to get Maye more help on offense

Which is a terrible blown call because he’d not come set on the flop, which you’re allowed an opportunity to do. Were he to have flopped sides (along with the TE), set a down hand and then raised it to gesture, yeah, false start. But this isn’t that. Just referee error.
The refs called Will Campbell (right side on unbalanced line) for a false start for his right arm motion before the ball was snapped. Looked like the #Patriots had the third-down conversion, too.

So not the missed Elliss sack? Or Byard almost tipping the 3rd down pass? Or the defense missing 28 tackles? Or Kuhr’s playcalling? Or McDaniels slow start? What about the defensive penalties?
Why do people feel the need to simplify things down to ONE play/player…
