My book Conscious Accomplishment - How to Use Personal Achievement For Spiritual Growth is now available! For decades I tried to achieve my way to happiness. When this stopped working, I was forced to turn my focus inward. Pretty quickly, I began to realize that working on my consciousness was a more direct way to improve my life. As illuminating as this was, it also was disorienting and nerve-wracking. Most of the examples in our culture made it seem like you either went hard after success or abandoned all that to live a monastic lifestyle. I wondered if I was being called to leave my worldly ambitions behind if I was serious about my consciousness evolution. Fortunately, I met a wonderful teacher who guided me towards clarity. The call wasn’t to abandon my life as a startup entrepreneur, but to use my existing circumstances for expanding my awareness and transformation. Gradually my company and all aspects of my life became my mirror and teacher. Conscious Accomplishment is the book I wish I had when I started my journey. It teaches you how to use the process of moving towards your goals for the evolution of your consciousness. And as you do this, the ways in which you accomplish things evolves and expands. This integrated path is not only incredibly enlivening and enriching, but also suitable for many people in our society. If you’re interested in learning how to walk this middle path, are conscious-curious, or feel stuck while trying to balance both worlds, this book is for you. If this resonates, you can find a link to the book below👇 And if you’d like to support it reaching others, ❤️and 🔁are much appreciated!

Don't get me wrong, I think there's a lot of rigging in pro sports. But anyone who thinks this DB was letting him score vs. trying to get outside this block to make the play before the cutback, has likely never played the game at a high level. He misread a split section decision. It happens all the time.
Yeah I know a gambling man when I see one. #24 looked him dead in the eyes and RAN THE OTHER WAY 😭😭

I went for a walk with a founder awhile ago who I'd call conscious curious. His business was going well, but his life felt like a firefight. He'd read some of my articles and wanted advice on letting go of control. "I've spent so many years working to get my life in a stable state. All this surrender and letting go stuff just feels like I'd be abandoning everything I've worked so hard to build." What I told him is that you're feelings are right on track. Everytime we're called to the next phase of our evolution, we're often forced to relinquish whatever we cultivated in the previous paradigm. I think of this as "making way" for whatever is next. So it seems to go like... When you've finally mastered your personal will to design your life how you want, life will challenge it... And then will you start to master letting go, then life will challenge you to step into a more expanded form of personal power... And this cycle of cultivation and then relinquishing to clear for something else that pushes your developmental edge just continues. Once we acknowledge the pattern, we can move through it with more ease.

Had a really cool experience today. Earlier this year, I merged into a lane and accidentally cut a car full of teenagers off. I was having a really tough morning already and when this happened, the driver laid on his horn repeatedly for almost 30 seconds. I felt so much rage that I got out of my car at the light and went up to his window, yelling "Do you have a problem!?" The driver was scared shitless and wouldn't look at me. When I got back in my car and he then proceeded to honk again as the light turned green. I went back to my hotel room feeling like I was about to go nuclear. I decided to sit and process my rage. This morning something identical happened. I didn't see a car and merged in front of someone, and they started honking loudly. After his first series of honks, he waited a bit and then went back for more...like I didn't hear him the first time. Except this time, I felt nothing. No rage. No anger. Just amusement and curiosity that this person was so affected by having someone pull in front of him. Recognizing this shift in automatic reactivity felt amazing. It's a signpost for a lot of the inner work I've done on my anger, and no other person will see but me. To the guy honking this morning, thanks for the progress report. 🙏

I don’t get Halloween. Was walking around Austin today and I just see lawns full of things representing death, fear, and darkness. It’s fun getting my daughter dressed up, but nothing else about the holiday resonates including loading kids up with sugar. It’s hard not participating because you want your kids to feel included. But if that wasn’t a thing, I don’t think we’d continue partaking in this one.

I like visualizing a column of white light energizing and blessing a meal before I eat it. I can’t verify empirically this actually does anything, besides make me pause and appreciate the meal. But that’s been enough to continue the habit.

Woke up to this text from a very successful former tech exec. Tactics are great, but what really moves someone is sharing your raw, honest experience in a way that allows them to be seen. This is usually what catalyzes healing and all of our stories of struggles and triumph have this potentiality to serve others in this way.

A little hack that's been really helpful for me when working on meaty projects is to record a small video for myself at the end of my work, describing: - where I'm leaving off - what I am thinking through - what I'm planning next Watching this before I start working on the project helps minimize context gathering to get cranking!

Mainstream media is so good at intentionally ignoring things. The fact that they reported on this is so curious. Reads like continued priming to me....
We are officially on the zaniest timeline. Fox news talks US soldiers battling evil reptillian beings at a gray alien shootdown site. And you thought my research was pretty out there stuff!

Today I spent an hour talking about galactic origins, made an intro based on a recommendation by a psychic, and did a talk on how to share your consciousness journey at work. My weird life increasingly looks like this and I love it! 🤘🏻
