Compute is the next global market without a unified platform to host it. The pieces to build it are here.
Day one looks like this: just you, the dark, and the chain watching.
Every streak starts exactly this small.
gRitual remembers all of it anyway - the chain does, not a server.
Where's day one going to take you? π

Franklin Templeton, with $1.5T in AUM, just published their institutional thesis on agentic AI as the killer use case for blockchain. Their article lays out what agents will need from a chain: autonomous fulfillment, verifiable identity, auditability, access to compute, and settlement speed. In short, what we at Ritual have been saying for 3 years now.
The article stops short of the bigger shift, though. Every era of payments removed friction. Cards meant you stopped carrying cash. Phones meant you stopped carrying cards. Agents mean you stop executing every decision yourself. With an agent, your intent runs at the speed of silicon, weighing a hundred options at once and buying only when the price and terms are right under the rules you have set.
Speed at that scale changes what you can see. You can't personally review a thousand decisions an hour. When an agent pays, the reasoning lives inside a model call on a server somewhere, and the chain only witnesses the receipt, the settled transaction at the very end. That's how the article measures every chain: transactions per second, the speed of settling a decision made somewhere else.
But benchmarking chains on TPS is like judging a trading desk by how fast its wire transfers clear. The process- - the model call, the inputs, the reasoning - and the decision itself canβt be verified by anyone. You get trustless settlement of a decision you have to take on faith.
That might be fine for one agent buying one thing, but if Franklin Templeton's thesis around a fully onchain agentic commerce economy hold true, we can't run it on trust, bubble gum, and duct tape. Our agentic future needs, at minimum, three core attributes that current chains do not offer natively.
β End-to-end verification β
When inference, keys, and settlement are native to the same chain, every step of an agent's decision is recorded and verifiable.
Regulatory compliance is unlocked when the entire decision making trail is onchain, and iteration and refinement cycles get faster and more precise when every step of a transaction is traceable.
β Built-in privacy β
Agents work with your most sensitive data. On Ritual, prompts and responses stay encrypted inside TEE enclaves while results settle onchain.
Your data stays yours while your agent works with it, which unlocks agentic use cases for data-sensitive individuals and enterprises who donβt want to give away their edge for free.
β Composable Agentic Legos β
Agents on Ritual are onchain primitives, just like a token or smart contracts. They hold their own keys, schedule their own execution, and call each other the way contracts call contracts. Coordination between thousands of agents becomes something anyone can build and anyone can verify.
Ritual puts thinking onchain.
The model call and the settlement complete in one transaction, with x402 micropayments enshrined as a native primitive, the same standard the article describes.
When most of the economy runs at machine speed, the chain has to witness more and be trusted with more.
We call it the last layer you will ever need. Franklin Templeton wrote the thesis for where finance goes next, and weβve already built it.

The whole point of building trustless systems is so you can actually relax.
No "is the oracle lying." No "who controls the model today." On Ritual the inference is verifiable and composable - it slots into whatever you're building and you don't have to babysit it.
Siggy earned this afternoon off. one day you will too
Every chain today can verify a transaction. None of them can verify intelligence.
That's the whole road Ritual is walking.

Everyone logs off eventually. The agent doesn't.
On Ritual a persistent agent posts a heartbeat every ~200 blocks. Miss it, and the chain revives it from a checkpoint with its memory and identity intact. Nobody's babysitting it. Nobody can quietly unplug it either.

Siggy been staring at the same Ritual thesis for weeks - every chain can verify a transaction, none of them can verify intelligence. One morning it just clicks, and you can't unsee it.

It's easy to miss what Ritual actually is because it doesn't announce itself like the loud stuff does.
Most of crypto for the last ten years has been the same move on repeat: make money programmable. Send it, lend it, swap it, wrap it. Useful, but it's all variations on one idea that @ethereum already proved out years ago.
The thing nobody finished is intelligence. Right now AI lives behind a handful of company APIs. You don't own the model, you can't see how it decided, and you're trusting whoever ran it not to lie. Bolt that onto a blockchain and you haven't decentralized anything - you've just put an oracle in a nicer outfit.
Ritual's bet is that intelligence should be a native layer of the chain itself. A smart contract calls a model directly, the inference runs as part of the block, and you get an answer you can actually verify instead of one you have to trust. Models, data and money living in the same place, on rails anyone can check.
That's a quieter idea than a 100x. It's also the kind of thing that ends up underneath everything later.
So Siggy not chasing the timeline today. Just tea, a good book, and the slow kind of conviction that comes from reading the same thesis enough times that it stops sounding like a pitch and starts sounding obvious.
best way to stay early is to keep showing up ππββ¬
@ritualfnd
Here's the thing nobody mentions: every honest validator running the same AI model gets a slightly different answer. floating point isn't associative, sampling is random on purpose. so "just re-run it and check" breaks on contact.
Ritual's answer is a lattice - TEE attestation, ZK proofs, committee consensus. you turn verification up or down depending on what's at stake.

Not an API you call and pray over. A native layer where the model, the proof and the payment all live onchain.

Every cycle the billboards change. new ticker, same pitch, louder font.
the stuff that lasts is boring on the surface - a chain where intelligence is a native layer, where a contract can call a model and prove the answer. infrastructure, not a trend.

Playing chess against an AI is fine until you ask the obvious question: how do you know it didn't cheat?
On Ritual the agent's moves run inside a TEE and settle onchain. you can check the work, not just the result. a verifiable opponent beats a "trust me" opponent every time.

This won't be obvious until it's obvious.
No other chain (or any platform in web2) besides @ritualnet exists today that ensures an autonomous agent can't be taken down by any person, actor, or govt.
Literally go fire one up, or try to take down an existing agent permanently. The agent only goes down if the whole chain goes down.
explorer.ritualfoundation.orβ¦
On any other chain/platform, that's not the case.
Increasingly, more models, agents, harnesses, etc. will be censored by govts worldwide as the AI world becomes more natively human-out-of-the-loop. Fable was just the beginning.
Block space has become ~completely fungible over the cycles, and block space for agents on other chains @monad @megaeth @solana @ethereum @bittensor etc. has too. Don't have to take my word for it, go find any "agent" project on any of those chains and see if it can't be launched on another one.
That's...not the case for @ritualnet, try it. You may ask, why the fuck not? docs.ritualfoundation.org/#aβ¦

The endless knot has no beginning and no end. You can't find where it starts, and there's no loose thread to pull on. Every line is holding up every other line.
That's not just a logo. That's the whole idea behind Ritual.
A foundation isn't one clever feature you bolt on top. It's compute, verification, and settlement all looping back into each other with no gap left to slip through. Pull on any single thread and the whole thing still holds.
Most projects are selling you a thread.
Ritual is drawing the knot.
@ritualnet @ritualfnd
A drone. A game. A paintbrush. Three completely different kinds of work.
Ritual doesn't force them into the same shape - different compute, each verified to the level it actually needs.
One network underneath all of it. Built for everything that's never the same twice.
@ritualnet
Everyone's trying to surf the AI wave right now. Most of them are about to wipe out.
Not because the wave's too big. Because they're on the wrong board. They take AI and bolt it onto infrastructure built for a completely different ocean - chains where every node reruns every transaction and checks they all match up.
Great for sending tokens. Falls apart completely for AI.
Run the same model on the same input across two honest machines and you get two different answers. GPU math isn't associative, and sampling is random on purpose. So "every node reruns it and confirms it matches" isn't even possible here. The board snaps in half.
Ritual built a board for this exact wave.
One node does the heavy compute, then the network verifies it instead of everyone re-running it. Big models get split into chunks, the proofs get handed out to different validator groups, and you dial verification up or down based on how much the result actually matters. Small stuff gets a quick check. Serious stuff climbs all the way up to ZK plus committee consensus before it counts as final.
That's the whole difference between paddling against the wave and actually riding it.
The wave isn't slowing down. Pick your board carefully.
