It is with great pride that I announce my participation, alongside Hafsa Ahmad and Justice Jawad Hassan, in an upcoming speaking engagement at @HarvardFLPC of @Harvard_Law. We will be discussing the landmark judgment of the Lahore High Court titled “Muhammad Ahmad Pansota Vs. Federation of Pakistan,” which linked the government’s efforts to reduce food loss and waste with the right to food. The judgment also declared the government's failure to implement laws and policies to mitigate food loss and waste as a violation of the constitutional right to food.
