Anticipation for Darian Mensah’s return game has grown significantly among Green Wave fans.
Many Tulane alumni told me they’re even more keen on attending this game with the Jake Retzlaff transfer news.
September 13 is now circled on a lot of calendars, and already was for many.
Anticipation builds for Darian Mensah’s return to Tulane as @ESPNPR just announced it will be a night game.
Northwestern will come to Yulman Stadium to play in a very hot and humid environment at the early time slot.
No game time or network has been announced yet for Ole Miss.

It’s time to stop messing around and support your local college team, the TULANE GREEN WAVE.
This team is too talented, and the program is too good, to not get the full support of the city. Give us a chance and read why YOU need to show up to Yulman stadium:
1) Tulane is really damn good.
The Wave have had 2 11+ win seasons in a row and are favored in the remainder of their games this season to get to 10 wins again. They are currently beating conference opponents on AVG by 40 points and are super fun to watch. Tulane is also the most recent Louisiana team to play in and win a major bowl game.
2) The Wave has a special coaching staff.
Coach Jon Sumrall is an insane 26-6 as a head coach. That win % is good for TOP TEN ALL TIME among FBS coaches. He’s primed to make that even better this season.
3) The team is full of local stars.
There are 39 Louisiana kids on the roster, including leaders like Tyler Grubbs, Pat Jenkins, Josh Remetich, Rashad Green and Bailey Despanie. There’s also future stars like Rayshawn Pleasant, Duda Barnes and Shazz Preston just to name a few. Support these local kids, they have earned it.
4) It is easy, cheap, and fun to go to a game.
Ticket prices are more than reasonable. We give away two premium tickets for free EVERY game. Concessions are cheap and easy to get. It’s the perfect way to spend your Saturday with friends and family.
When say #PackYulman we mean it. If you can travel up river to the yellow school, you can take the street car down St. Charles. I promise the quality of football played isn’t too different. Together we can make Yulman an even more special place to play. tulanegreenwave.evenue.net/c…
