@Frigidaire Gallery Microwave door buttons stopped working 6 months into warranty (May 2022). Have followed all the steps that Customer Service asked that I do. Door Assembly part still listed as unavailable although being told it would be available first by end of July and 1/2

2/2then on August 5th. Still not listed as available but being handled by the "back room" that can't be reached even by your own Customer Service personnel. It has been over 11 weeks without a working microwave and I want a replacement NOW without the run around! Please respond
Interesting article bit.ly/2vemxiB showing the continuing decline in entrepreneurial start ups in US generally. Does low unemployment mean fewer people need to start up a company to work? However, notice link to Surge Cities and Hartford is #46. More good news for CT.
We already have the corporate leaders as head of CERC recruiting on the State's behalf. Now we need a statewide plan with measurable goals. This is not the responsibility of one agency, but all agencies working in concert under the orchestral leadership of the DECD Commissioner.

Today's editorial in the HBJ, bit.ly/2F4sxjS, is right on the mark. There is little evidence that says that corporate leadership equates economic development. CT needs a DECD Commissioner that is steeped in the science and art of economic development.
CTC turns 25 years young today. Thank you to all the Board Members, Staff, and supporters that have been so instrumental to our successes all these years. We stand on your shoulders to reach the stars! Now for the next 25!!
Congratulations Loco Oncology on eye popping sale. bit.ly/2RFrtty Very exciting to have another unicorn identified in CT. Just confirms that CT is a great place to GROW your business.

5 of the 50 cities designated by National League of Cities to participate in City Innovation Ecosystem Program are in CT. bit.ly/2ONZl2a All have been kickstarted by CTNext Innovation Places program. Congrats to all the designees. Momentum is building, can you feel it.
Congratulations to @NedLamont,@mayormark, @SteveObsitnik, @timherbst for getting convention endorsements. Looking forward to seeing you at CTC Gubernatorial Forums June 13 discussing growing CT’s tech base and our Growth Agenda. bit.ly/2IAhKNG

When I was in Canada recently, my Canadian Tech Council counterparts were highly appreciative of our President driving the immigrant entrepreneurs away from the US. Read more here : bit.ly/2KFW1Fs

This article bit.ly/2rmfgvA gives us food for thought about CT and how to expand the ecosystem. However, critical to this idea is the successful founder that wants to give back. If you are out there, let’s talk!

Looking forward to learning from and sharing CT’s experience with Tech Council CEOs from Canada and the US here in Winnipeg. Great to visit the Human Rights Museum, an architectural wonder. @TechCouncils

Exciting commitment by Jonathan Rothberg to advance medical devices in CT. cour.at/2Gaq3BT Continually pushing the technology envelope is a hallmark of Rothberg’s efforts. Reinvesting back into the ecosystem by our successful entrepreneurs will bolster all our work.

Happy to be joining over 200 teachers and administrators to advocate a full coding curriculum in our schools in Ct. #CS4CT
YES!!!!! Let’s help New Haven figure this one out. bit.ly/2FCOJCI. CT needs a major development like this, a 10 minute walk from the train station, to attract the workforce we need.

The migration from places like Silicon Valley, NYC, and Boston has begun and is accelerating. nyti.ms/2FhuwCU CT needs to recognize this and make changes designed to take advantage of the migration. This is a major emphasis of the CTC public policy agenda!

Check out this article by friend and CTC Board Member Matt McCooe! bit.ly/2FfOsDa Momentum is building, investments in tech companies are paying off. We all need to follow Matt’s lead and start telling the CT story whenever we can. Time to change the perception!

Great article that highlights the journey we in CT must take to economic growth. brookings.edu/research/high-… Only 3% of high growth companies are in cities below 250k population. Need to think of CT as one or maybe 2 cities using mass transit and broadband to create sense of density.

Accelerators are planned or already operating in Innovation Places across the state. Great article, singularityhub.com/2018/02/0…. Tells us don’t stop there. Build the support network to “capture” the accelerator graduates. We can do this!

CT needs to find a path to fiscal stability. This group, courant.com/business/hc-biz-… will get us started. Need to look at all tax expenditures. Should a state that is broke really subsidize boat purchases? And there are so many more antiquated ‘breaks”! Let’s clean them up.
