The site @web3isgreat (by @molly0xFFF) has been tracking the total of reported frauds in the crypto space. Today, this number is a $68B! This is more cash than what Apple has on hand in total! About the same as the GDP of Croatia. Has any industry seen fraud in such a value?

As Genesis undergoes bankrutpcy proceedings, Gemini and its Winklevoss twin cofounders have been firing accusations of fraud at them as they try to recover around $900 million of their customer funds that were with Genesis when it collapsed. Now, the New York Attorney General is alleging that Gemini repeatedly lied to investors about its Gemini Earn program, assuring them that it was low-risk when internal analysis had revealed Genesis' loans to in fact be quite risky. All the guys on my Facebook who were really into crypto mining and NFTs a couple of years ago are now starting "world first" AI businesses. It's fascinating. They should be studied in a lab. The masculine version of jumping from Tupperware to Thermomix to essential oils.

It’s so nice when other people find uses for something I built because I needed it myself.

Just discovered bytefield-svg. Combined with asciidoctor-diagram is pretty neat. Makes for a nice way to document protocols on websites or pdfs. bytefield-svg.deepsymmetry.o… You can see a pretty exhaustive example here: djl-analysis.deepsymmetry.or…

Yay unsolicited testimonials! “It's a shame Pioneer doesn't support [Beat Link Trigger] even unofficially. It's such a huge value add for them. When I was looking to buy my XDJ-XZ, people were trying to sell me Denon gear but I'm locked into Pioneer because of BLT.”

Just starting to read Working in Public by @nayafia and I’m already hooked. Plus, I didn’t know it was possible to print or bind a book with such quality today!

Wow, more than 5,000 downloads of Beat Link Trigger. I never imagined that when I created it as a proof-of-concept for @drummerclint!

It's really important for your hobbies to be different than your work. For example, my work is writing code while drinking La Croix. My hobby is writing code while drinking whiskey.

Thank you, I couldn’t have hoped for a better reaction to my article. I’m often grateful that @fowlafowla and @singlewire were willing to give #Clojure a try. – at Wisconsin, USA

What a magnificent article on so many fronts. Congrats on all your achievements on lighting/music projects, @brunchboy ! I especially relate with this passage — I reacted similarly learning about the countless landmines I created in the past! @BrianGoetz teapawt.net/97_Things/status/11428…
