Pitch inspection at 1030hrs at the BCG @AdiddaC

A steady performance from the 1st XI saw them record a 6 wicket victory in the season opener. After restricting Bharat to 136 inside 41 overs (J Mews 4-35, J Taylor 3-13), the 1s chased the target with 16 overs to spare (A Marsh 64*, R Harris 33). Well done gents 👏🏼 #BCC #cricket

The 1st XI get their season underway today against @CcBharat. Winter nets had an average weekly attendance of around 3 people, so we’re more than prepared 💪🏼🏏 👀 #cricket #BCC Live updates will depend on signal/standard of performance.

Jonny Bairstow is good at batting. #ENGvNZ – at Sawtry, England

A full set of fixtures this weekend for the BCC as the 1st XI face @Blunham_CC at the BCG, the 2nds travel to Peterborough to play Royal Strikers, and the Sunday XI will enjoy the glorious backdrop in Cambridge against @CambridgeNCICC. Best of luck to all! 🏏☀️💯 #BCC #cricket – at Sawtry, England

The most famous village club in the world (at least for 24 hours or so) deserves a proper net and training facilities. So, if you can spare a few bob, please donate a little. If you can spare many bobs, please donate generously. We really appreciate it. gofundme.com/f/help-buckden-…

The 1st XI made it 4 wins from 4 yesterday, completing the double over @c_upwood and securing the Platinum Jubilee Trophy. Having first dig, the 1s posted 190ao (J Mews 37, J Kaye 33) before dismissing Upwood for 91 inside 28 overs (J Mews 6-18). #BCC #cricket – at Sawtry, England

The 1st XI face @c_upwood today, playing for the much-coveted and, one assumes, inexpensive Platinum Jubilee Trophy. Come and join us at the BCG, where there will also be a hog roast and platinum vibes. #cricket #BCC 👑🏏

The 1st XI complete the double over @Hampton_C_C. Having been inserted, the 1s reached 222-9 from their 45 overs (L Marsh 59, M Chester 35). With figures of 8-40 from his 8 overs, R Harris almost single-handedly reduced Hampton to 106 all out inside 16 overs #MVP #BCC #300par

Same fixture, different view for the 1st XI today, as they travel to @Hampton_C_C. The 2nd XI are at home against @ickwellcc, while the Sunday XI face @EatonSoconcc, also at the BCG. The Hunts Cricket League - home of the only sport that matters this weekend 👀🏏 #BCC #cricket

An impressive performance yesterday from the 1st XI against @Hampton_C_C. The bowlers restricted Hampton to 229ao from 36 overs (H Brown 4-26). From 92-6, masterful knocks from L Marsh (73*) and J Taylor (68*) confirmed victory, sealed with a sumptuous six by L Marsh. #BCC #HORNS

The 1st XI look to continue their winning start to the season at home to @Hampton_C_C today. The Sunday XI, also going well, are away to @cambourne_cc. It’s been blazing hot all week so, quite inevitably, it’ll tip it down at some point over the weekend… ⛈🏏🙃 #BCC #cricket

No fixture for the 1st XI this week but, after a very entertaining game last time out, our 2nd XI are in action at the BCG in a local derby against @LittlePaxtonCC. The Sunday XI will travel to @HoughtonWytonCC tomorrow. Up the BCC! 🏏 #cricket #buckden
