the final battle ! if you don’t do companion quests and ignore the factions, all of the companions can die during the final battle, and rook gets trapped in the fade with solas
i’ve never found taash insufferable i think it’s a you problem. maybe invite some joy into ur life bc taash is hilarious and very sweet if you actually pay attention to their story instead of dismissing them as insufferable and moody
they’re literally fine, what’s the issue with them ?? also people don’t earn respect we should automatically respect people 💀 wanting to be respected isn’t a bad trait
saying anything positive about veilguard and getting a bunch of completely unprompted responses of people hating on the game
yeah but in veilguard every companion can canonically die so the entire epilogue thing is just blank
you can ignore companion quests and the faction strength and make the final battle miserable for everyone. even if u have hero of the veilguard, you can still give out the wrong assignments in the final battle and the companion will die
cole is mentioned!! by solas for sure but i think varric mentions him as well? there’s also a very funny parallel where spite repeats a line said to cole
yes! it’s cool how they give a lot of variety, any number of the companions can die. it depends on ally strength and which assignment you give them. so someone suited to a role with low ally strength might still die, but someone not suited with high ally strength could survive
and the game basically gives you a massive middle finger at the end where the epilogue lines usually go. it’s hysterical
veilguard might not let you be mean to people but it’s the only dragon age game where you can kill all of your companions and send yourself into fade hell with an ancient god and i think that’s beautiful
