I made a new Lit demo that shows how updates propagate down a tree.
When a parent re-renders, only the children with changed data re-render. Often only a small subset of a large tree has to update.

Updated my PR to add a TC39 Signals proposal integration for @buildWithLit. I think it's real close now!
I've already been using a version of this integration in my own projects, and it's been really great. I'm excited to see how much more we can do!!

You can keep throwing string literal templates at the DOM and it will only update what needs to be updated.

It's in a preview state, but docs already has a lot to demonstrate.
Code is rendered with @antfu7 recently rehauled shiki/twoslash and @shoelace_style mighty tooltips! @buildWithLit gracile.js.org/docs/learn/us…

Very cool to see that @webdriverio is now documented as an option for testing @buildWithLit apps. I've built and tested a lot of Lit applications and found WebdriverIO to be the best solution for component tests out there today 🙏 with more to come!

Lit's built-in XSS protection is boosted by the fact that it *already* supports Trusted Types.
Enable trusted-types in CSP and lit-html template literals will be trusted and all user values - which could flow to unsafe attributes - will be untrusted.
Mozilla has changed their standards position on Trusted Types to positive 🎉
2024 will be a bad year for DOM-based XSS.
